Before First Use

  3. Add all ingredients into the Jug, filling up to the marked max. and min. lines with liquid added last.

  3. The appliance shall not be used by children.
  4. Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children.
  5. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  6. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable assembly available from the manufacturer or its authorized service agent.
  7. WARNING: The mixing blades are very sharp. Handle with care when using and cleaning.
  8. The programs are set to make perfect soup or jam from scratch only.
  9. The Steam Cover is designed for steam out use only. Do not add any food or ingredient by opening the Steam Cover during working status.
  10. During working status, the Mode Button is not workable. If you need to change into another program, you may press Start/Stop Button and re-select the program.

In addition, we offer the following safety advice.

  • Always locate your appliance away from the edge of a worktop.
  • Ensure that the appliance is used on a firm, flat surface.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors, or near water.
  • The mains cable should reach from the socket to the base unit without straining the connections.
  • Do not let the mains cable hang over the edge of a worktop where a child could reach it.
  • Do not let the cable run across an open space e.g. between a low socket and table.
  • Do not let the cable run across a cooker or toaster or other hot area which might damage the cable.

WARNING:

  • To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug and appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Avoid contact with moving parts.

Extreme caution must be observed when moving an appliance with hot contents.

  • Do not use product with wet or moist hands.
  • Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Treating scalds: Run cold water over the affected area immediately. Do not stop to remove clothing, get medical help quickly.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause damage to the unit.
  • Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources such as gas or electric stove, ovens or burners.
  • Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and the like.
  • When using the unit, ensure the Lid is in place before switching on.
  • Do not remove the Lid until the blade has stopped.
  • After one operation cycle, you must allow the appliance to cool down completely, then clean the appliance to prevent burning.
  • Do not operate the appliance for making soup continuously.
  • Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the soup maker as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to sudden steaming.

BEFORE FIRST USE

It is important to clean your Soup Maker before first use or if it has not been used for a long period of time.
When you first use your Soup Maker, you may notice some smoke/ vapour emitting from the Lid, this is normal and is simply grease that is used on some parts of the appliance applied during the manufacturing process. After using a few times this will stop.

START TO USE SOUP MAKER

  1. Ensure the Soup Maker is unplugged from the mains.

  2. Turn the Lid and then lift to remove.

  3. Place all the ingredients into the Jug.
    Add the liquid last, filling up to between the max. and min. lines marked on the Jug.TurboTronic-TT-FSM7-Digital-Soup-Maker-FIG-

  4. Place the Lid back onto the Jug, ensuring it is covered rightly and securely in place.

  5. Plug into the mains.

  6. The product will beep sound,LED screen show 88:88

  8. Press the Mode Button to select the program.
    The icon will flash and cooking time will be displayed.
    Press the Start/Stop Button.
    The Soup Maker will beep and begin the cooking process.
    The cooking time start to count down.

  9. When finished, the Soup Maker will beep for 5 times, screen showas picture and all icons will flash.

  10. Then the screen will show ‘End’ and icon will illuminate to next program about 3 minutes. Finally enter into standby mode and the screen do not display. The icons will flash in sequence.

  11. Unplug from the mains, remove the Lid and pour the fresh soup into a bowl.

Note: the Blend/Clean setting allows you to further blend the soup to your desired consistency if necessary or to clean Soup Maker.

To access this function after cooking, you can press Start/Stop after finishing cooking. Then press the Mode Button to select Blend/Clean program and press Start/Stop Button to blend the contents of the Jug.

LED SCREEN INSTRUCTION

Soup Maker utilizes 3 different processes to create fresh soups, jam and drinks: heating,resting and blending. Each of these processes are highlighted during the program with a small animation on the LED Screen.

Heating
The heating animation will appear in motion when Soup Maker is heating the contents of the Jug.

Blending
The blending animation will be displayed when the Mixing Blade is in use.

Resting
During the program, Soup Maker will occasionally ‘rest’, at which point no animation will be shown. But the timer on the LED Screen will continue to count down. This is normal.
Note: During the resting period, do not lift the Lid as this will void the program. Once the process is completed, Soup Maker will beep for 5 times and then the screen will display ‘End’.

Completed
When completed, Soup Maker will show the same animation as resting, but the timer will be at ‘0’ and all icons on the panel will flash and then show ‘End’.
Heating and Blending do not work together.

Additional Operation Instruction

  1. The screen will display E1 or E2 If Temperature Sensor have open circuit or short circuit failure. Then unplug from the mains, you may need to ask the authorized retailers for help.
  2. The screen will display E3 and beep 5 times when the Temperature Sensor reaches the dry burning temperature control setting (there is no water is detected), during heating element working status. Then unplug from the mains, let Soup Maker cool down totally and then for next use. (During E3 status, the Mode and Start/Stop Button are not workable.)
  3. The screen will display E4 and beep 5 times if the Lid is not covered rightly after plugging in the mains. During working status, remove the Lid, the Soup Maker will pause for 1 minute. The Soup Maker will proceed to work if the Lid is covered rightly within 1 minute. Otherwise, the Soup Maker will stop working and enter into standby mode if the Lid is not covered rightly more than 1 minute. (During E4 status, the Mode and Start/Stop Button are not workable.)
  4. In special case, you have to add some ingredients during working status. You can long press the Start/Stop Button to add the ingredients if necessary. The screen will show 3 minutes countdown.
  5. After finishing adding ingredients and the Lid is covered rightly within 1 minute, the Soup Maker will proceed to work. Otherwise, the Soup Maker will stop working and enter into standby mode if the Lid is not covered rightly more than 1 minute. (Ref. Additional Operation Instruction No.3)
  6. If do not open the Lid or do not have any operation more than 3 minutes, the Soup Maker will beep 5 times, stop working and enter into standby mode.
  7. The Soup Maker will stop working and enter into standby mode if short press the Start/Stop Button within 3 minutes under do not open the Lid or no any other operation situation. (During working status, the Mode Button is not workable.)

WARNING

Do not remove the Cover or Lid during working status.
Do not put your hand near the Steam Cover because the steam may come out around the gap between the Steam Cover and Lid, which may hurt you during soup/jam making.

Caution: the steam may come out from the gap between the Steam Cover and Lid.

  • Do not touch the machine during soup/jam making, especially the Lid, Steam Cover and Jug.
  • Do not use uncooked meat in Soup Maker.
  • Do not fill the content under the Min. line or exceed the Max. line on Soup Maker.
  • Do not pour already made, or reheat tinned/carton soup/jam to reheat in Soup Maker.
  • Do not immerse the Jug, Motor and Heater Housing in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not allow water get onto the motor and heater housing.

HOW TO CLEAN

After use, clean the Jug inside and mixing blade with warm soapy water by cleaning tool. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.
Certain food types can burn if in contact with the base heating element. If this happens, fill the Soup Maker with hot soapy water and allow to soak for 15 minutes. Any burnt-on food can then easily be removed with a coarse sponge cleaning pad. Do not use a metal scouring pad as this will scratch the base.
After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly before use.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.

Limited Warranty applies to purchases made from authorized retailers of TurboTronic®. TurboTronic® Warranty coverage applies to the original owner and to the original product only and is not transferable.
TurboTronic® warrants that the unit shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. Limited Warranty apply only when it is used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the requirements outlined in the Owner’s Guide, subject to the following conditions and exclusions:

SINCE THIS PRODUCT IS NOT PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM TURBOTRONIC® BUT THROUGH ONE OF OUR THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS, ANY ISSUE AFTER THE PURCHASE, CUSTOMER SERVICE OR RECEIVING THE WARRANTY SHOULD BE ONLY / DIRECTLY THROUGH THE THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS FROM WHICH YOU PURCHASED THE PRODUCT.

What is covered by this warranty?

  1. The original unit and/or non-wearable parts deemed defective, in TurboTronic® sole discretion, will be repaired or replaced
  2. TurboTronic® reserves the right to replace the unit with one of equal or greater value.

What is not covered by this warranty?

  1. Normal wear and tear of wearable parts (such as blending vessels, lids, cups, blades, blender bases, removable pots, racks, pans, etc.), which require regular maintenance and/or replacement to ensure the proper functioning of your unit, are not covered by this warranty.
  2. Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
  3. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance (e.g., failure to keep the well of the motor base clear of food spills and other debris), or damage due to mishandling in transit.
  4. Consequential and incidental damages.
  5. Defects caused by repair persons not authorized by TurboTronic®. These defects include damages caused in the process of shipping, altering, or repairing the TurboTronic® product (or any of its parts) when the repair is performed by a repair person not authorized by TurboTronic®.
  6. Products purchased, used, or operated outside Europe.
