HONDA INS_0523-02 No-Drill MudFlaps

Product Information

The No-Drill MudFlaps are designed to protect your vehicle from mud, dirt, and debris. They are easy to install and require minimal
tools. The package includes a parts kit with all the necessary components for installation.

What you Need

  • Ratchet and Socket Set (Not included)

48MF567 Parts Kit:

  • (1) Phillips #2 Insert Bit

48MF573 Parts Kit:

  • (2) Threaded U-Clips
  • (2) Hex Head Screws

Please note that the ratchet, socket set, and extractor are not included in the package.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Vehicle Preparation

Start by thoroughly washing your vehicle. Remove all dirt, debris, and stains from each fender in the areas where the MudFlaps will be installed.

Step 2: Driver’s Side MudFlap Installation

  1. Locate the (1) Phillips head fastener on the underside of the fender as indicated.
  2. Using a ratchet, appropriate socket, and the included bit, remove the (1) Phillips head fastener. Keep it for reuse.
  3. Locate the (1) Phillips head fastener on the inner fender as indicated.
  4. Using a ratchet, appropriate socket, and the included bit, remove the (1) Phillips head fastener. Keep it for reuse.
  5. Locate the molded dimple on the front of the rear bumper as indicated.
  6. Install (1) supplied threaded U-Clip over this location, ensuring the hole in the U-Clip aligns with the factory dimple.
  7. Take the MudFlap marked LH and align it with the corresponding holes on the fender.
  8. Loosely reinstall the (2) factory Phillips head fasteners using a ratchet, appropriate socket, and supplied bit.
  9. Using a ratchet and appropriate socket, install (1) supplied hex head screw by applying pressure and rotating clockwise. This will pierce the molded dimple and engage the threaded U-Clip.
  10. While firmly pressing the MudFlap against the fender to ensure it is properly seated, fully tighten all (3) fasteners.

Step 3: Passenger Side MudFlap Installation

Repeat Steps 3-9 to install the MudFlap on the passenger side. The MudFlap for the passenger side is marked RH (right side).

WARNING: The MudFlap is designed to fit vehicles with standard-sized wheels and tires. Installing MudFlaps on vehicles with aftermarket wheels or oversized tires may interfere with the MudFlap, void the warranty, and cause damage to the MudFlap or the vehicle.

Installation Instructions

  1. Start by thoroughly washing your vehicle. Take care to remove all dirt, debris, and stains from each fender in the areas corresponding to wherethe MudFlaps will be installed.
  2. Park the vehicle on level ground. Begin with the driver’s side MudFlap installation.
  3. Locate the (1) one Phillips head fastener on the underside of the fender as indicated. Using a ratchet, appropriate socket and the included bit, remove the (1) one Phillips head fastener. It will be reused.
  4. Locate the (1) one Phillips head fastener on the inner fender as indicated. Using a ratchet, appropriate socket and the included bit, remove the (1) one Phillips head fastener. It will be reused.

  1. Locate the molded dimple on the front of the rear bumper as indicated. Install (1) one supplied threaded U-Clip over this location. Make sure the hole in the U-Clip is lined up with the factory dimple it is installed over.
  2. Using the MudFlap marked “LH,” place it up to the fender and align with the corresponding holes.

  1. Loosely reinstall the (2) two factory Phillips head fasteners using a ratchet, appropriate socket and supplied bit.
  2. Using a ratchet and appropriate socket, install (1) one supplied hex head screw by applying pressure and rotating clockwise so that it pierces the molded dimple then engages the threaded U-Clip.

  1. While firmly pressing the MudFlap against the fender to verify it is properly seated, fully tighten all (3) three fasteners.
  2. Install the passenger side MudFlap marked “RH,”repeating Steps 3-9.
