Please read through this manual thoroughly before use, any damage caused by
misuse of product will not be covered by warranty.
Perfect for smaller venues the QTX TetraCube portable effect light, offers 4
eye-popping features in one compact package.
Easy operation using the remote control or auto/sound to light modes and the
added convenience of an internal rechargeable battery offering up to 6 hours
of wire free light shows without the need of additional power. Filling smaller
rooms with RGB washes, strobes, magic ball effects or 2 colour laser waves the
QTX TetraCube provides surprisingly bright and colourful coverage for such a
small unit.
In the box:
Your TetraCube should arrive with you in a single carton in good condition. The carton should contain 1 x main unit, 1x stand/fixing bracket, 1x remote control, 1x laser key and 1 x user guide.
Warning:
To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the unit to rain or
damp environments. In the event of a spillage, disconnect the power and allow
the unit to dry out naturally. Qualified personnel should then check the unit
before continuing use.
Caution: Laser radiation
Avoid pointing directly towards eyes. Laser output can cause injury if viewed
directly.
This product is a Class 3B laser and should only be installed and used by
persons who are trained in the management of laser radiation and are able to
operate in accordance within the guidance given by the Health and Safety
Executive (HSE) in HS(G)95: “The Radiation Safety of Lasers used for Display
purposes”. Copies of this guide can be downloaded from:

Placement:
- Use the included mounting stand/bracket to either position on a stable surface or fix to a stand or lighting truss.
- Keep the unit away from damp or dusty environments.
- Do not aim LED or laser output directly into line of sight, as this can result in eye injury.
Usage Instructions:
- Connect the USB charging lead provided to a suitable USB power supply and fully charge the unit before first use. You should receive up to 6 hours of normal use for a single charge.
- Use the switch on the back of the unit to power the unit on and the function button on the front to choose between the unit’s various lighting modes.
- To enable and disable the laser, use the laser key provided in the keyhole on the back of the unit.
Remote control:
The TetraCube is supplied with an I.R. remote control for quick access to the
extended functions of the unit. This has a maximum range of approximately 4-5m
and must be aimed towards the front of the unit.
Controls and functions are listed on the diagram below:
- ON/OFF = Power on/off
- Color = Manual colour select
- Auto 1+2 = Auto modes 1 and 2
- Sound 1+2 = Sound modes 1 and 2
- LED AUTO = LED ball auto mode
- LED R/G/B = LED ball colour select
- PAR AUTO = PAR lights auto mode
- PAR R/G/B = PAR lights colour select
- Laser AUTO = Laser auto mode
- Strobe = Strobe effect on
- Laser R/G = Laser colour select (red/green)
- Mode +/- = Laser effect speed adjust
- SEN +/- = Sound mode sensitivity adjust
- 0.5A + 1A = 0.5 or 1 hour timer set
- 2A + 3A = 2 or 3 hour timer set
NOTE: To set the timer, first select the desired mode (i.e Auto 1) then press the length of time required. The unit will flash 4 times then return to your selected mode and power off at the end of the set time span.
