DOEPFER A-101-8 Analog Modular System Photo Phasing
Product Information
The A-101-8 Photo Phasing module is a part of the DOEPFER MUSIKELEKTRONIK GMBH ANALOG MODULAR SYSTEM A-100. It is designed to provide phasing effects to audio signals. The module features pin headers and trimming potentiometers that can be adjusted to customize the phasing effect according to user preferences. The module consists of two boards, Board A and Board B, each with specific pin headers and trimming potentiometers:
Board A:
- JP4: Amplification
- Installed: high amplification
- Not installed: low amplification (factory setting)
- JP5: Dummy pin header for unused jumper (factory setting)
- JP1: Bus Connector
- P6: Offset
- P7: Scale
Board B:
- P8: Maximum Feedback
Important Note: It is recommended to change the trimming potentiometer settings only if you are familiar with such adjustments and understand their functions. Misadjusted trimming potentiometers may require additional working time to correct, and the charges for this correction will be borne by the customer.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the A-101-8 Photo Phasing module, follow these steps:
- Ensure that the module is properly installed in the DOEPFER MUSIKELEKTRONIK GMBH ANALOG MODULAR SYSTEM A-100.
- If you wish to adjust the amplification level, locate JP4 on Board A:
- If high amplification is desired, ensure that the pin header is installed.
- If low amplification (factory setting) is desired, remove the pin header.
- If there are no unused jumpers, leave JP5 as it is (dummy pin header).
- JP1 is the bus connector and should be left as it is.
- For adjusting the offset, locate P6 on Board A and set it according to your preferences.
- Similarly, adjust the scale by locating P7 on Board A.
- If you wish to control the maximum feedback, locate P8 on Board B and set it as needed.
- Once all adjustments are made, connect audio signals to the appropriate inputs and outputs of the module to apply the phasing effect to the audio.
