Maintenance instructions
Before each connection a visual inspection is needed.
Cleaning (power off!):
- Cleaning of the contacts is necessary on the contact faces.
- For this purpose, we recommend the cleaning tool, order No. 19.5524. You can also use:
- Compressed air or hoover to remove dust, dirt, etc.
- Spraying an alcohol-based solvent to dilute impurities.
- Wipe with a clean cloth.
- For cleaning, do not use aggressive tools (wire brushes, rigid tools) which could damage the surface treatment present on the contact surfaces. This would considerably harm the electrical performance of the product.
- Don’t grease! Dirt particles might agglomerate and obstruct the M12 screw system.
- In case of special use, ask the advice of Stäubli technical service.
