INSTALL GUIDE – TRAILER
CBL-AG-AEPC Asset Gateway

This installation guide contains typical information specific to products
manufactured at the time of its publication. The contents of this guide do not
constitute a warranty and are for reference only. Do not attempt to repair
this product, use any third party replacement parts with this product, or
otherwise modify this product except in accordance with product manuals or as
otherwise instructed by Samsara. Failure to do so may cause property damage,
lead to physical injury, or void your product warranty.
Replace trailer’s EBS socket with the Samsara EBS socket.
Plug the Samsara EBS plug into the trailer’s EBS socket.
Select mounting location, clean thoroughly with cleaning wipe. Attach mounting
plate with adhesive and 4 self-tapping screws (bag 1).
Device cellular and GPS connectivity may be adversely impacted by
environmental factors including proximity to structures, device placement
relative to satellite and cellular signal sources, and shielding effects from
nearby objects or metal. Samsara specifically recommends against device
installation internal to metallic structures and encourages testing to
evaluate the suitability of device placement prior to installation.
Mount the AG onto mounting plate with 4 flat-end screws (bag 2).
Plug cable into AG, twist to lock. Verify the AG indicator light turns green,
this could take 1-3 minutes.
