Electrical Connection

  1. Remove the cover and, if desired, install the cable clamp. Feed the interconnecting cable into the electrical box.
  2. Select the appropriate speaker leads for your system type:
    • For 70V systems, use the red lead.
    • For 25V systems, use the yellow lead.
    • For the common (COM) connection, use the black lead for both 70V and 25V systems. Interconnect the speakers in the system, ensuring that all leads of the same color are connected together. Avoid swapping colors.
  3. Cut the bare wire tip off of any unused speaker lead. Secure all mechanical connections and re-install the cover.
  4. Set the tap selector switch to the proper tap setting.

Ceiling Installation

  • For 2ft. x 2ft. Tile Space: Drop the ceiling speaker into the space. A crossbar is unnecessary for this installation.
  • For 2ft. x 4ft. Tile Space: Cut the ceiling tile no more than 23-3/4″. Place the speaker in the ceiling with the tile support rail crossbar facing the ceiling tile opening. Drop the tile into place.

2-YEAR WARRANTY

The CSD2X2 is covered by a two (2) year warranty against defects in material or workmanship from the date of sale to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, improper storage, neglect, accident, improper installation, modification, repair, alteration, or if the serial number or date code has been removed or defaced.
