Product Usage Instructions

To use the Smappee EV Wall LITE / PROJECTS ONLY, please follow these instructions:

1. Ensure the relative humidity is within the range of 0% – 95%, and it is non-condensing.
2. Make sure the operating altitude does not exceed 2,000 m.
3. Connect the device to a power source using either Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz or Ethernet 100BASE-T.
4. Ensure the communication protocol is set to OCPP 1.6 J. If an update to OCPP 2.0.1 is available, consider updating the protocol for optimal performance.
5. Mount the device securely on a wall using the appropriate mounting method.
6. The enclosure of the device is made of Magnelis for structure and aluminium for the front plate. It has a rating of IP54 / IK10 and comes in standard colors of RAL9016 (star white) or RAL7021 (black grey).
7. Verify that the integrated residual current protection is set to 6 mA DC.
8. Install a breaker with a maximum rating of 32 A, type B or C, and a 30 mA RCD type A or B (according to local regulations) for external protection.
9. For charging, ensure the maximum charging capacity is set to 22 kW. The device supports 3-phase output power and charge/RFID functionality. The information status is displayed using an RGB LED. The kWh meter complies with IEC 62053-21.

The Smappee EV Wall Lite is a wall-mounted EV charging station with socket for standalone use at home. It provides overload protection by manually setting a fixed maximum current. The EV Wall Lite is easy to install with simple cable configuration and installation wizard. The integrated LED lighting indicates charging status. Charging sessions can be started and stopped via QR code, RFID. Receive detailed insights on your charging process and costs via the Smappee App.
