TUO TTS1195 Temperature Sensor
Product Information
The TUO Temperature Sensor is a device that allows you to monitor the
temperature in your home. It can be paired with a home hub of your choice and
is compatible with various networks. The sensor comes with a removable
magnetic stand, allowing you
to easily mount it on a wall. It also includes an adhesive for secure
attachment. It is important to note that the TUO Temperature Sensor contains a
magnet and should be kept away from individuals with pacemakers or other
medical devices that may be affected by magnetic fields. Failure to follow the
safety instructions may result in harm or interference with medical devices.
Product Usage Instructions
- Start by pairing the TUO Temperature Sensor to the home hub of your choice. Make sure your network is compatible.
- Ensure you have the Matter Setup Code in a safe place as you will need it to securely add the TUO Temperature Sensor to your home.
- To reset the device, remove the backplate and locate the reset button. Use a small pin to push the button once for a device reboot. To completely reset the device, hold the button for 10 seconds. Note that this will remove the device from the platform you are using and require re-pairing.
- If you want to mount the sensor on a wall, remove the base of the magnetic stand and use the adhesive included on the back of the product. Alternatively, you can use a screw to mount the metal backplate on any surface.
Getting started
Pull the battery safety tab from the back of the TUO Temperature Sensor. When you see the LED blink 5 times, followed by 3 blinks, that means the device is in pairing mode
Pairing & Activation
Pair the TUO Temperature Sensor to the home hub of your choice. Ensure your network has a compatible read Border Router. To learn more about ˜read Border Routers, head to http://findtuo.com/borderrouter
Turn the TUO Temperature Sensor around to reveal the pairing code. Scan or type in the manual pairing code in the platform of your choice.
Battery replacement
When it is time to replace the battery, simply turn the TUO Temperature Sensor around and remove the backplate.
Resetting the sensor
With the backplate removed, you can push the reset button with a small pin. Push it in once to reboot the device. Push it in and hold for 10 seconds to completely reset the device. Please note that this will remove the device from the platform you are using and will require re-pairing.
