The P5570-44B/66A and P5571-44B/66A are lighting fixtures designed for installation in residential or commercial settings. These fixtures are suitable for indoor use only and require a junction box for installation. The fixtures are capable of holding one medium base bulb up to 60 watts or CFL/LED equivalent (bulb not included). The fixtures come with a mounting plate, ground screw, and mounting screws for easy installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Preparation: Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware, and unpack the new fixture, taking care not to misplace any small parts.
- Mounting Plate Installation:
- Remove the two mounting screws from the side of the canopy and detach the mounting plate.
- Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the two outlet box screws provided.
- Hanging Wire Adjustment:
- Loosen the allen screw using the allen wrench provided.

- Connect the fixture’s white/ribbed wire to the house’s white (neutral) wire.
- If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s bare copper (ground) wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s bare copper (ground) wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.
- Ensure all wire connectors are securely fastened and tuck the wire connections neatly into the junction box.
- Completing the Installation:
- Attach the canopy to the mounting plate and secure it with the mounting screws.
- Install one medium base bulb up to 60 watts or CFL/LED equivalent into the socket.
Your installation is now complete. Restore power to the junction box and test the fixture to ensure proper functionality.
