Product Usage Instructions

  1. REMOVE EXISTING BUMPER:
    • Begin removing your vehicle’s existing front bumper, fog lights, sensors, and grille.
    • Refer to the video tutorial at www.YouTube.com/FishboneOffroad for guidance on removing and disassembling your factory bumper.
  2. ASSEMBLE:
    • Using a 3/8 drill bit, drill out the specified bolt hole.
    • Loosely install the fog light brackets onto the bumper using the included M6 countersunk bolts, washers, and nuts. Use a 10mm socket and a 4mm Allen key for installation.
    • Loosely install the fog lights into the bumper using the specified M8 bolts and washers. Use a 13mm socket for installation. Ensure the bolts are placed in their respective location: 35mm bolt secures the drilled hole, 30mm bolt secures the fog light bracket, and 25mm bolt secures the inside of the bumper.
  3. INSTALL:
    • Install your sensors and power harness in the same location as the factory orientation.
    • Adjust the lights to your preference and tighten all hardware.
    • Remove your factory sensor bezels from the factory bumper and install them into the new bumper in the same locations. If the bezels do not snap in, file the inner tabs to accommodate the thicker Fishbone bumper.
    • Install the included foam paddings onto the mounting brackets and the bottoms of the d-ring mount reinforcements. If your vehicle does not have a winch plate, place the remaining foam on both sides of the included spacers. If you plan on installing Fishbone’s Winch Plate Adaptor Kit, place the remaining 4 pads on both sides of its mounting locations, which lay between the frame skid plate.
    • With the help of a friend, slide the d-ring reinforcements into the frame, ensuring that the frame is positioned between the reinforcement and skid plate. The bumper should now support itself.
    • Using tape, adhere the two factory tow hook nut plates into the specified slot to prevent sliding during installation.
    • If you do not intend to run a winch plate, insert the spacers between the bumper and bottom of the frame at this time.
    • Remove your vehicle’s intercooler shroud.
    • Reinstall the factory bolts using a 15mm socket.
    • Using the included M14 bolts, washers, and nuts, secure the bumper to the frame using a 22mm socket.
    • Reconnect your fog lights and sensor harness. If your vehicle has an Automatic Cruise Control unit, use Fishbone’s ACC Relocation Bracket in the grille and connect the harness. Finally, reinstall your grille.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

REMOVE EXISTING BUMPER

Begin removing your vehicle’s existing front bumper, fog lights, sensors, and grille. We show how to remove and disassemble your factory bumper over at www.YouTube.com/FishboneOffroad

ASSEMBLE

Loosely install the fog light brackets onto the bumper using the included 4 M6 countersunk bolts, washers, and nuts with a 10mm socket and 4mm Allen key.

With a 3/8” drill bit, drill out the bolt hole shown below.FISHBONE-OFFROAD-

Loosely install your fog lights into the bumper using the M8 25mm, 30mm, and 35mm bolts using a 13mm socket. These bolts and washers are locations specific. The 35mm bolt secures the drilled hole, the 30mm secures to the fog light bracket, and the 25mm secures to the inside of the bumper.

Ensure the lights are adjusted to your preference, and tighten down all the hardware.
Remove your factory sensor bezels from the factory bumper, and install them into the new bumper in the same locations. If the bezels will not snap in, you will need to file the inner tabs due to the Fishbone bumper being thicker than factory.FISHBONE-OFFROAD-FB22366-2021-Ford-F150-Pelican-Front-Bumper-FIG-
