7793077 1 Inch Push On Repair Coupling with Removal Tool
Note: Fitting not for use with PEX or PE-RT Tubing.
- Cut and discard 2″ section of pipe in the area to be joined.
- For a proper water tight fit, use a deburring tool to remove burrs. Use sand cloth to obtain a smooth edge to pass by rubber seal of fitting without damage. Pipe must be round and free of scratches and imperfections.
- Mark the outside of the pipe at the Install Depth to help ensure proper installation.
- Slide side marked “Slip End” of fitting on to the other side of the pipe as far as needed.
- Using included disconnect tool press it firmly against plastic collar at slip end of the fitting and slide fitting along pipe on towards open pipe at other end until you reach the Insertion Depth mark made earlier.
To Remove: Snap removal tool over pipe. While firmly pressing removal tool against plastic collar at fitting opening, carefully slide pipe/tubing the opposite direction out of the fitting.
Operate at temperatures from 0 to 180°F (82°C) at a maximum working pressure
of 200 PSI (1379 kPa).
WARNING: Not designed for underground use, do not bury.
