Operating Instructions

Use

  • The milk frother is suitable for cappuccino, latte macchiato, milkshakes, cocktails or other milk-based products.
  • Fill your vessel with the desired amount of liquid. Please note that the height of the container should be at least twice as high as the amount of milk filled in.
  • The milk should be heated to a maximum of 60°C for optimum frothing.
  • Take the milk frother in your hand, immerse the rotor head completely in the liquid and push the on/off button forward to start the frothing process. Slide the on/off button back again to finish the process.
  • Move the milk frother with the rotor head fully immersed up and down for 15-20 seconds.
  • When a sufficient froth head has formed, first push the On/Off button back to finish the process, then remove the milk frother from the liquid.

Changing the battery

  • Open the battery compartment by sliding the latch of the battery compartment to the side.
  • Insert two new AA/Mignon batteries, observing the polarity.
  • Slide the battery compartment lock fully back into the original position.

Safety instructions

  • The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry environments only.
  • As with all electrical products, this device should be kept out of the reach of children.
  • Do not operate the product continuously, as it is not designed for this.
  • Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
  • Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
  • Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products are not permitted.
  • Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
  • Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
  • Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children due to the risk of suffocation.
  • Dispose of packaging material immediately in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
  • Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
  • Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.

Warning – Batteries

  • When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and – markings) and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.

  • Only use batteries that match the specified type. Keep the instructions for the correct choice of batteries included with the operating instructions of devices safe for future reference.

  • Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polarity contacts.

  • Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.

  • Replace all the batteries in a set at the same time.

  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different manufacturers.

  • Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).

  • Do not short-circuit batteries.

  • Do not charge batteries.

  • Do not burn batteries or heat them up.

  • Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment.
    They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.

  • Remove spent batteries from the product and dispose of them without delay.

  • Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).

  • Ensure that batteries with damaged housings do not come into contact with water.

  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

Note

  • Only switch on the unit with the rotor head fully submerged.
  • Clean the unit thoroughly after each use.
  • The unit is not waterproof and not suitable for the dishwasher. Therefore, never immerse the housing in water. However, you can simply clean the housing with a damp cloth.
  • The rotor head can be cleaned under a cold water jet. Stubborn residues can be removed by briefly pressing the on/off button in hot water.
  • Caution: danger of splashing if the rotor head is held under running water!
