The TWCD Triax Wideband Combined Dual Receiver is designed for the transmission of broadband signals in medium and large Fiber Optic systems. It converts optical wavelengths of 1310, 1330, 1350, 1370, and 1550 nm to 2 x V/H and TERR signals. It is compatible with Triax TdSCR wideband Multiswitches and supports up to 64 passive splits. The receiver has a frequency range of 40-2400 MHz and provides high reception quality even with high split ratios. It can be powered via the V/H output (12-20V) and features AGC (Automatic Gain Control) to boost signal levels.

Product Usage Instructions
Attention! The installation and commissioning of the TWCD Triax Wideband Combined Dual Receiver should only be performed by suitably qualified persons, technicians, or installers in compliance with safety regulations specified in EN 62368-1, EN 60825-1 (laser class 1), and EN 60728-11. Failure to comply with the specified precautionary measures may cause serious injury to persons or damage to property. Please follow the instructions and advice provided below for proper installation and usage of the product.
- Disconnect the mains power before working on electrical systems.
- A suitably qualified person should always install any additional electrical wiring requirements.
- Do not perform installation or service work during electrical/thunderstorms.
- Ensure proper disposal of the product after its end of life. Do not dispose of it in household waste. Follow the current National and European legislation and regulations for recovery and recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
- For potential equalization, connect the unit to the MET (Main Earth Terminal) of the building. Fix the grounding cable to the grounding clamp of the metal housing.

meets the harmonized standards specified in EN 623368-1:2014 +/AC:2015, EN

61000-3-2:2014, EN 61000-3-3:2013, and EN 63000:2018. The declaration is valid
until September 4, 2023.
Product Installation
The TWCD Triax Wideband Combined Dual Receiver can be used for dual SAT & TERR distribution over a single Fiber Optic Network with up to 64 splits. Please refer to the user manual for detailed installation instructions specific to your setup.
Attention!
The installation and commissioning may only be performed by suitably qualified
persons, technicians or installers in compliance with safety regulations in EN
62368-1, EN 60825-1 (laser class 1) and EN 60728-11. Attention should also be
paid to the instructions and advice you find below.
Failure to comply with the specified precautionary measures may cause serious
injury to persons or damage to property. Damage due to improper installation
and commissioning, defective connectors on cables or any other incorrect
handling will void the warranty.

Specific safety instructions
- The transmitter unit needs to be installed in a dry room or cabinet with sufficient air convection. Never connect the PSU to the mains before all cables have been connected to the transmitter. Never look in to an open core of a fibre cable or fibre connector that is in operation with a laser transmitter.
- Unfiltered Terrestrial antennas must not be connected directly to the TERR port.
- Un-used F-ports shall be terminated with DC blocked 75 Ohm terminators – like TRIAX DC Blocked Terminator (305349).
- For potential equalization unit needs to be connected to the MET of the building.
- The grounding cable shall be fixed to the grounding clamp of the metal housing.
