Product Information

The product is a computer case model PH-NV523TG_DBK01 and PH-NV523TG_DMW01. It is available in two color options: D-RGB Satin Black and D-RGB Matte White. The product is manufactured by Phanteks.

Installation Guide (Version 1.0)

The installation guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the product.

Front I/O:

The front I/O panel of the product includes the following components:

• 1 Audio
• Microphone 2 USB 3.0
• 3 USB C 3.1
• 4 Color Button
• 5 Mode Button
• 6 Power Button
• 7 Reset Button

D-RGB Controls:

The D-RGB controls of the product allow users to customize the lighting effects. The available modes are:

• Solid Colors
• Multi-Color
• Breathing
• Pixelate
• Fade
• Wave
• Two-Tone
• Turn off LEDs

To turn off the LEDs, press and hold the MODE button for two seconds. Press the MODE button again to turn the LEDs back on.

Clearance:

The product supports different fan sizes in different locations:

• Top: 120mm (3x)
• Side: 120mm (3x)
• Bottom: 120mm (1x)
• Rear: 120mm (1x)

For CPU cooler and GPU clearance, the product supports up to 170mm width for the CPU cooler and provides clearance for the GPU.

Panel Removal:

The product’s top panel and front panel can be removed for easy access during installation.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation process, remove all external panels by loosening the thumb screws at the rear and sliding them back or sideways to remove.
2. Lift the PSU cover to remove it.
3. Connect all needed cables to the power supply first for easier installation.
4. Install the ATX motherboard using 9x motherboard screws. Use the “stand-off removal tool” to reposition the stand-offs for Micro-ATX Motherboards.
5. Insert the power supply from the side into the chassis and secure it with 4x PSU screws.
6. For storage, the product supports up to 4x 2.5″ SSDs or 3x 3.5″ HDDs. Secure each SSD with 4x SSD screws.

D-RGB CONTROLS

Turn off LEDs

Press and hold the MODE button for two seconds to turn off LEDs, press again to turn it ON

PANEL REMOVAL

TOP PANEL

• It is recommended to remove all external panels before starting the installation process.
• Loosen the two thumb screws at the rear.Slide it back to remove.

LEFT SIDE PANEL

Loosen the two thumb screws at the rear. Slide it back to remove.

FRONT PANEL

• Remove the two scres at the front. Slide it sideways to remove.

RIGHT SIDE PANEL

• Loosen the two thumb screws at the rear. Slide it back to remove.

POWER SUPPLY COVER

• Remove the thumb screws on the oposite side. Slide it to release.
• Lift the PSU cover to remove it.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION

1. MOTHERBOARD
   • Install the ATX motherboard using 9x motherboard screws. Use the ‘stand-off removal tool’ to reposition the stand-offs for Micro-ATX Motherboards.
2. POWER SUPPLY
3. Insert the Power supply from the side into the chassis. Secure with 4x PSU screws.
   • STORAGE LAYOUT
   • The NV5 comes with a storage door that is behind the right side panel. It supports up to A 4x 2.5” SSDs or B 3x 3.5” HDDs.
   • STORAGE | 2.5″ SSD
   • Secure each SSD with 4x SSD screws.
   • STORAGE | 3.5″ HDD
   • Secure each HDD with 4x HDD screws.
   • PRO TIP
   • Optional you can remove the storage door for an easier installation process.
4. BOTTOM FAN BRACKET
   • Remove the case screws on the oposite side. Slide it to release.
   • GPU FAN BRACKET
   • Secure the GPU Support Bracket with 2x long thumb screws.
   • Adjust the GPU Support bracket to secure the GPU in place.

CABLES

Connect the front I/O cables to the motherboard and power supply.

D-RGB CABLES

Expand with more D-RGB products

More D-RGB lighting products can be connected to the integrated D-RGB controller. Optionally, the lighting can be synced and controlled via motherboard software.

Sync lighting to the motherboard

NOTE D-RGB control buttons are deactivated if connected to a motherboard.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE

As an alternative, the NV5 supports the Phanteks Vertical GPU Bracket which supports up to a 4 slots GPU.
