Installation Manual

Product Summary

FTH-30 series of thermostats are mainly used to control the 2-pipe &3-speed fan coil and valve in the civil, commercial and industrial constructions.

Main Function

3.1 Large screen of LCD, English display, with blue backlight.
3.2  Display the room temperature, clock and week simultaneously
3.3 With week programmable function, 4 time periods per day for the setting of temperature and starting time
3.4 24-hours timer switch(optional).
3.5 8-hours of sleep function (optional).
3.6 Fan controlled anti-condensation, anti-cold air function.
3.7 With temperature correction function.
3.8 Backup function, can recover the foregoing working state before power off.
3.9 With key lock function, can prevent the mis-operation.
3.10 Hotel special card (optional), no card into the economic operation mode.

Installation Explanation

4.1 Please do the operations of installation by professionals after the power is cut off.
4.2 Choose the correct installation location, do not install the product under direct sunshine or near high humidity areas.
4.3 Working Environment Temperature: -10°C~+50.0°C.
4.4 When it need be installed in the high humidity places, such as the bathroom, please use a special waterproof cover.
4.5 Height above sea level: 2000m at most

Installation Step

5.1 Detach the panel and base according to the diagram, then loose the wire base of power panel and take down the wire.
5.2 Firmly connect the power wire and load wire with the correspondent terminals according to the wiring diagram on this manual.
5.3 Fix the base into the pre-buried standard 86 junction box by the screws in the supplied accessories.
5.4 Insert the wire into the power panel, and attach the front cover to the base according to the marked direction.

Product Summary

ON-OFF Operation

Under standby state, long press key over 3 seconds to turn on the system; under power-on state, long-press key over 3 seconds to turn off the system.

System Running Operation

• Under power on state, short press key to circularly switch the system running mode:

• With week programmable function thermostat under power on state, long press key to switch between auto (time period) running mode and manual temperature setting running mode.
• Without week programmable function thermostat under power on state, long press key enter timer off set condition.
• Under power on state, short press key to circularly switch the fan speed:

• Under power on state, short(long)press ▲ key or ▼ key change the set temperature.
  Notice: Card type thermostat only have card status change set temperature.

Set Timer On/Off (Timing thermostat

• Under standby state, press key enter timer on set interface, press ▲key or press ▼key to change the set time, and the adjustive step is half of one hour (30 minutes), after finish press key confirm.
• Under power on state, long press key enter timer off set interface, press ▲key or press ▼key to change the set time, and the adjustive step is half of one hour (30 minutes), after finish press key confirm.
• Timing when the time is up, after automatic startup will operate by the last time startup working mode and set temperature.
• If you want to cancel the timer switch, please timed time settings for zero; after artificial startup will automatically cancel the current boot settings and after artificial shutdown will cancel timer shut off setting.

Enter Sleep Mode

• Under power on state, long press key and key at the same time, after display sleep mode mark release the key will enter sleep mode operation, the same operation can cancel the sleep mode.
• Sleep mode at a constant temperature, ventilation mode is invalid; after into sleep mode clients can change set temperature, but the temperature do not be saved, after finish sleep mode return to normal mode of set temperature.

Lock (Unlock) Keyboard

• Under the standby or power on state, press ▲ and ▼ keys at the same time over 3 seconds, loose them when displaying symbol and then keyboard is locked; you can unlock the keyboard by doing the same operations.

▲Recover the default value

• Under the power on state, press , ▲and▼ at the same time over 3 seconds, then loose them when the default value recovery interface is displayed. And the interface will show the software version of thermostat, as the version 2.1 shown on the picture;
• Press key to confirm, the display interface will restore to the standby interface 5 seconds later, which means the operation is  successful; if you only want to check the version, press key to return the power on state.

• Enter setting state, programmable menu F(blinking display) is under selected;
• Short press ▲ key(or short press ▼ key) switch menu options F0-F6;
• Short press key enter the parameter settings state of corresponding menu;
• Press ▲ key(or press ▼ key)change parameter value;
• Short press confirm this setting, return to the previous menu or select the next parameter;
• Short press key cancel this setting, and return to the previous menu.

Insert Card Function Explanation

• If the clients select the insert card type thermostat, please properly connected to the card in accordance with wiring diagram in the product bed. No card mark is displayed on the LCD panel when no card, the system into the economic operation mode, the set temperature pre-programmed by the staff.
• A card into the normal operating mode, the user can set the temperature and wind speed. Economic model without card, the user can switch, but can not change the set temperature, can not set system parameters and recovery system.

The solution of abnormal problems

Please check again if the N-wire and L-wire are connected correctly; if the cooling and heating running mode set is in accordance with the requirements.

Notice

11.1 Please read the manual carefully before using, if you have any questions, please contact with the professional engineer of our company;
