CORDING FOOT (TYPE A) FOR
OVERLOCK MACHINES

Cording foot (Type A):
The cording foot can be used with clear monofi lament and other fi ne threads to
reinforce fabric edges on tablecloths and other home decorative items.
Fishing line can even be used to create an attractive, curling eff ect on light
to medium fabrics.
For your safety, turn off the power switch before changing any attachments.
Machine setting:
Set the machine for ordinary 1-needle 3-thread rolled hemming (using the right needle). (Refer to the machine instruction book)

Sewing:
- Remove the left needle and the presser foot.
- Insert the cord into the guide on the cording foot. Attach the cording foot to the machine and pull the cord behind the foot.
- Insert the fabric just in front of the upper knife. Sew the fabric, guiding the cord close to the right of the needle.
