Fagoting is a technique often seen in heirloom sewing. Two folded edges are
joined together by threads over an open area. The fagoting plate keeps the
fabrics separated at an equal distance.
Fagoting is sewn on grain in natural fabric – use linen, cotton or blend of
linen / cotton.
Caution
Make sure to press the Lockout key when replacing the foot or attaching a
binder.
For models without the Lockout key, turn the power switch off when attaching
and detaching the foot and binder.
