The BINDER FOOT for 9 mm stitch width sewing machines (Ref: 202-099-204) is an accessory that makes it easy to attach pre-folded bias binding tape or bias tape you have made yourself onto any sewing project. It is equipped with a small funnel that helps fold and guide the binding over the fabric edge before it reaches the needle. The binder foot can be used with zigzag, decorative stitches, as well as straight stitch.
Please note that there are specific precautions to follow when replacing the foot or attaching a binder. For models with a Lockout key, make sure to press the Lockout key before replacing the foot or attaching a binder. For models without the Lockout key, turn off the power switch when attaching and detaching the foot and binder. Refer to your machine’s instruction manual for accessory attachment and removal information.

The binder foot makes it easy to attach pre-folded bias binding tape or bias tape you have made yourself, onto any project. Equipped with a small funnel to fold and guide the binding over the fabric edge before it reaches the needle, the binder foot can be used with either zigzag or decorative stitches as well as straight stitch
Caution
- Make sure to press the Lockout key when replacing the foot or attaching a binder.
- For models without the Lockout key, turn the power switch off when attaching and detaching the foot and binder.

Machine Settings:
Stitch pattern: Straight stitch (center needle position)
Sewing:
Cut the end of the binding tape diagonally and insert it into the funnel. Pull
out the tape end and draw it toward the rear under the foot.
You may use a needle or stiletto to draw the tape through the funnel.
Insert fabric edge into the slit of the funnel and between the tape. Sew
slowly while guiding the tape and fabric into the funnel.
