Safety Instructions

DANGER: Using a generator indoors can be fatal. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poisonous gas that cannot be seen or smelled. Never use the generator inside a home or garage, even if doors and windows are open. Only use the generator outdoors and far away from windows, doors, and vents.

WARNING: Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) away from the generator to prevent heat from the muffler and exhaust gas from igniting combustible materials.

Product Usage Instructions

Setup

1. Connect the battery
2. Push two halves of the battery connector together tightly.
3. Add oil
4. Recommended oil: 10W-30.
5. Add up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) of oil. Do not overfill.
6. Move the generator outdoors
   • Only use the generator outside and far away from windows, doors, and vents.
7. Add fuel
   • Do not use E15 or E85 fuel.

Starting the Generator

Wireless Start

1. Push the battery switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the ON position.
3. Press and release the START button on the remote key fob.

Electric Start

1. Push the battery switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the ON position.
3. Push the choke button.
4. Press and hold the ignition switch on the EZ Start Dial.
5. Push the choke button.

Manual Start

1. Push the battery switch to the ON position.
2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the ON position.
3. Push the choke button.
4. Pull the recoil cord to start the engine.
5. Push the choke button.

SET UP

1. Shipping Support. ˜ Assembly > Remove Shipping Support Hardware.

2. Connect the battery. ˜ Assembly > Connect the Battery.
   Push two halves of battery connector together tightly.

3. Add oil. ˜ Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
   Recommended: 10W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.

4. Move the generator outdoors.
   ONLY USE OUTSIDE AND FAR AWAY FROM WINDOWS, DOORS, AND VENTS.

5. Add fuel. ˜ Assembly > Add Fuel DO NOT use E15 or E85.

6. DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.

NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!

Wireless Start

1. Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “ON” position.
3. Press and release the “START” button on the remote key fob.

Electric Start

1. Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “ON” position.
3. Push the choke button.
4. Press and hold ignition switch on EZ Start Dial.
5. Push the choke button.

Manual Start

1. Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
2. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “ON” position.
3. Push the choke button.
4. Pull the recoil cord to start the engine.
5. Push the choke button.

Plug in. ˜ Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
