DANGER
-
Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet, do not remove the grounding prong, do not use an adapter, and do not use an extension cord.
-
Replace all panels before operating.
-
It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only your freezer be provided. Use receptacles that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain.
-
Never clean freezer parts with flammable fluids. These fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion. And do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other freezer. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.

Do not connect or disconnect the electric plug when your hands are wet.
-
Unplug the freezer or disconnect power before cleaning or servicing. Failure to do so can result in electrical shock or death.

parts of the cooling system are damaged. Leaking coolant can ignite and may damage the eyes. -
In the event of any damage:
- Avoid open flames and anything that creates a spark,
- Disconnect from the power supply,
- Air the room in which the freezer is located for several minutes and
- Contact the Service Department for advice.
-
The more coolant there is in an appliance, the larger the room it should be installed in. In the event of a leakage, if the appliance is in a small room, there is the danger of combustible gases building up. For every ounce of coolant, at least 325 cubic feet of room space is required. The amount of coolant in the appliance is stated on the data plate inside the appliance. It is hazardous for anyone other than an Authorized Service Person to carry out servicing or repairs to this appliance.
-

Proper Air Circulation
- Install the freezer in a location with proper air circulation, plumbing, and electrical connections to ensure maximum working efficiency.
- The following clearances around the freezer are recommended:

- Do not install the freezer in any location not properly insulated or heated, e.g., a garage, etc. The freezer operates best in ambient temperature settings above 55˚ F.
Electrical Requirements
- A sustainable power outlet (120V, 15 A) with proper grounding is required to run this freezer.
CAUTION: Avoid the use of three-pronged adapters and DO NOT cut off the third grounding prong in order to accommodate a two-prong outlet. This is a dangerous practice, which provides no effective grounding for the freezer and may result in a shock hazard.
- Avoid using extension cords due to potential safety hazards under certain conditions.
- Use a 3-wire extension cord with a 3-blade grounding plug and a 3-slot outlet, which will accept the plug ONLY IF NECESSARY. The marked rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance.

up and lift the shelves vertically until the shelf is completely removed

freezer walls for maximum efficiency. To defrost:
- Remove any food and the ice cube tray from the freezer section. Store these items safely while the appliance defrosts.
- Turn the temperature control dial to the “0” position. Defrosting may take a few hours. Keep the freezer door open and place a bowl of warm water in the freezer to speed up the defrost time.
- Wipe excess water from the freezer, which will accumulate during the defrost. Do not leave unattended.
- Wipe down the interior of the freezer section once defrosting is complete.
- Reset the freezer section to the desired temperature, return food, and close the door.
NOTE: Frost accumulates faster during warmer months.
Use the plastic ice scraper provided with the freezer to scrape down the
interior of the freezer section, if necessary.
CAUTION: Do not use metal instruments to defrost the freezer, due to the
risk of puncturing the refrigerant tubing. Risk of fire or explosion if the
refrigerant tubing is punctured

using cleaning products
to avoid personal injury or product damage.
Door Gaskets
