Before first using your new Brilliant product it is most important that you read and follow these instructions, even if you feel you are quite familiar with this type of product. Keep this document handy for future reference.

Product details
- Select a suitable location indoors adjacent to a power point. Ensure minimum 1m distance from objects.
- Insert the plug into the power socket ‘W’ and turn the switch on.
- Turn the switch ‘S’ ON located on the bottom rear side of the base.
- When first time turned ON, the warm up of the electronic takes about 20 sec.
- You can operate your tower heater fan using the remote control.

WARNINGS
- This appliance generates heat. Use it only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacture and failure to comply may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not operate it close to combustive materials, e.g. curtains, furniture, flammable liquids, paints, paper etc.
- Keep at minimum 1m away from objects e.g. curtains.
- DO NOT touch this appliance with wet hands. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Wait until cools down.
- Use this appliance in upright position on horizontal surfaces.
- Do not cover the air outlet of this appliance for example with towel.
- Do not use it around bathtub, shower cabinet or spas/swimming pools.
- Do not use it in humid and hot environment such as bathrooms or kitchen.
- Do not insert any object into the air Inlet or Outlet to avoid electric shock or hazard.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this appliance.
- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
- Do not operate this product with a damaged cord or when the heater is malfunctioned, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Always turn the power OFF on switch on the base and/or at wall switch before moving or cleaning or whenever the appliance is not in use.
- Never move or lift up this product by pulling it by the power cable.
- Do not operate it on surfaces which can move or vibrate.
- Do not apply external force, e.g. stopping the movement of the tower in oscillating mode.
- Do not spray, splash water on it.
- Do not use it outdoors. Indoor use only.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The important safeguards and instructions given in this manual may not cover
all possible scenarios and situations that may occur. It must be understood
that common sense, caution and care must be exercised by the end user, using
this appliance.
Product description
This appliance has two major operation modes: Heating and Fan only (Cooling).
It has 4 speed of airflow in Heating Mode and 9 speed in Fan operation (cooling) mode, plus Turbo Mode (HH) when the airflow is the highest and extra low air flow (LL) in the Sleep mode. It has an oscillating function, switches left and right within an 80 degree ngle.
It has a built in PTC element with overheating protection and also it has a built in tip over safety protection. If tilted over 30 degrees or falls over, an error symbol comes up on display showing ‘E8’ and two beeps will be heard and it will shut down.
The UVC light which is built inside the base can be activated via remote control improving the quality of the circulated air.

Insert batteries in correct orientation as shown.
If not used for prolonged period remove the batteries.
Remote control operation
Point the remote control directly towards the signal receiver on the display screen then press any button.
A Buzzer will beep in the tower fan confirming that the tower fan received the signal.
If no beep is heard the tower fan didn’t receive the signal.
Change the angle or get closer to the base then repeat the above step again.
Ensure no obstruction between remote and the appliance.
The effective distance is about 5m.
NOTE: LED Display will go OFF after 30-40 seconds for energy saving purposes and to avoid disturbing sleep of individuals in bedrooms, while the appliance operates as programmed. Touch any button on remote (except the power button) to retrieve display
Functions and displays

Plug the cable into selected power socket and turn the power ON. When first |
time powered ON the appliance will go into WARM UP mode for 20 sec. Display
shows line going around. After 20sec it will go into Stand-By Mode with no
display, ready to receive the signal from remote. Press the power Button on
remote to turn it ON. Display will show default 03 Fan mode. To turn it OFF,
press the power button again. Display will show 00. ‘00’ means OFF. To turn
OFF manually hold your finger on the power button on the appliance for 2 sec,
the buzzer will beep twice. NOTE: when turned OFF with remote from Heating
mode the display will show white 00 and the fan will run for additional 30-40
sec, then turn OFF ( no display).|
Ready to receive signal from remote
| Sleep Mode. When pressed the display shows ‘LL’ and the air flow
becomes minimum. Press it again to exit the sleep mode. Note: First the power
needs to be turned ON. It operates only in cooling mode.|
| Turbo Speed Mode. When pressed the display shows ‘HH’ and the air flow
becomes maximum. Press it again to exit the Turbo Speed mode. Note: First
the power needs to be turned ON. It operates only in cooling mode.|
| Oscillating Mode. When Pressed the tower will turn left and right 80
degrees. Press it again to exit this mode ( the tower will stop oscillating)|
No change in display
| Press this button to activate the UVC light inside the unit. Small LED
indictor will be ON while the UVC is turned ON. To turn OFF press UV button
again. The display is red in Heat mode and white in cooling mode. Note that
the UVC light will turn OFF automatically after running for 1h.|
| Fan only (Cooling) mode the display is white. Press this button to switch to
Fan (cooling) mode. This is the default start mode|
| In cooling Mode the LEFT side ‘+ -’ controls Fan Speed. It has ‘01-09’
levels. Pressing ‘+’ button increases the air flow, pressing ‘-’ decreases air
flow. ’01’ is the lowest the ’09’ is the highest airflow. In Heating Mode the
left side ‘+ – ‘ controls the air flow and it has ‘01- 04’ air flow levels .
The right side ‘+ -’ controls the temperature.|
| Heating mode. The button to active the heating mode. When pressed it
will show the ambient temperature Note : In Heating Mode there is no Sleep
Mode (LL) and High Speed mode (HH)|
| Timer function. 1h to 8h timer operation can be selected by pressing
the timer button. ‘0h’ means the Timer is OFF|
| Right side display. Red. Pressing the Red ‘+’ will increase the
temperature , pressing ‘-’ will decrease it. The selectable temperature range
is 1- 30C. Note : these buttons don’t operate in Cooling (Fan Only Mode).
After selection the selected temperature number will flash for 10 sec, then
the display will show the ambient temperature.|
Heating Mode instructions
- First turn the power ON by pressing the power button :
- Press the heating Mode button :
- Select the desired temperature with + – buttons on the right side of remote: The selected temperature number will flash for 10 sec, then the display will show the ambient temperature.
- If the selected temperature is higher than the ambient, the appliance will turn the heater on and blow the hot air with preselected speed until the set temperature is reached, then it will stop.
Set temperature > Ambient Temperature: Heating is ON.
Set Temperature < Ambient Temperature: Heating functions stops
- The selectable temperature range is 1C to 30C.
- The maximum RUN TIME of the heater in Heating Mode is 9 hours. After 9h the heater will stop. To turn back on the heating repeat the above steps.
- The default heating temperature is 26C.
- The display won’t show negative temperatures. If the ambient temperature is below 0C, it ill show the minimum temperature 01C.
EXAMPLE: The ambient temperature is 23C, the set temperature is 25C. The
selected temperature 25C will flash for about 10 sec. When it stops flashing
the display will show the ambient temperature 23C. Then the appliance will
start to blow the hot air until it reaches 25C, then it will stop.
When the temperature drops below 25C again, the heater will start to blow hot
air again. Select the desired air speed level from 01 to 04.
Note: If the required temperature is set equal or below the ambient temperature the heating function wont work and the heater won’t blow hot air.
Installation location and precautions
Use the appliance in a clean indoor environment, free from dust and moisture.
Please note the following precautions:
- Do not cover the air outlet when in use.
- Keep 1m distance from objects, e.g curtains furniture and flammable materials.
- Use it on horizontal surfaces. It has tip-over safety protection. If tilted over 30 degrees or falls over, an error symbol comes up on display showing ‘E8’ and two beeps will be heard. To operate it again put it back into upright position.
- Do not operate it on surfaces which can move or vibrate,
- Do not use in humid and hot environment such as bathrooms or kitchen.
- Do not touch the Air outlet when the heating is on.
- Do not apply external force, e.g. stopping the movement of the tower in oscillating mode.
- Do not spray, splash water on it.
Care information
Handle this appliance with care. Always turn the power OFF at the wall switch before cleaning (*).
Cleaning
- Clean with soft dry cloth. Do not use chemicals, alcohol, bleach or abrasive materials which could damage the surface.
- You can use a soft brush to clean the dust off from the air Inlet or Outlet.
- Ensure moisture (water) won’t enter the air outlet
Note:
If turned Off via remote only, the Tower Fan is still ON in Stand-by mode.
Turn the switch OFF on the base or unplug the cable from power socket or turn
the switch OFF at the wall switch before cleaning.
Storage
If not used for prolonged period of time place it back into its plastic bag
preventing dust to enter the air inlet/outlet.
DISPOSAL
Please dispose of this packaging material thoughtfully. Please dispose of this
product thoughtfully once it has passed its useful life. Do not dispose of it
with your normal household waste.
Check with your local authority for recycling options. Recycle in accordance
with your local recycling procedures.
Warranty
Brilliant Lighting warrants this product against defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 1 year from date of purchase.. This warranty is only valid for products installed by a qualified electrical contractor and operated within the guidelines specified by Brilliant Lighting, and within the correct operating voltage ranges as stated on the product’s rating label.
Warranty does not include damage or loss arising from incorrect installation, operation or maintenance of this product, damage caused through modification, incorrect installation, service by unqualified or unauthorised personnel or lack of regular maintenance and cleaning. Proof of installation by qualified personnel may be required, eg. Electrical Safety Certificate. Proof of purchase must be supplied with allwarranty claims.
This warranty is provided in addition to any other rights and remedies of the customer under any law. In applications not intended for household, personal or domestic use, liability is limited to replacement or reimbursement of product only. Brilliant Lighting does not warranty the costs of removal or re- installation of this product or associated components.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Any claim under this warranty must be made within the specified warranty period from date of purchase of the product. To make a claim under the warranty; at your own expense take the product (with proof of purchase – receipt or similar) to the store where you purchased the product or contact Brilliant Lighting at the address below.
