Product Information

The Thread Digital Caliper IP67 from Microtech is a hand-finished Swiss electronics device. It is designed for precision measurements and calibration. The caliper is equipped with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 certifications, ensuring high quality and accuracy. It features a pitch range of 1.5mm to 6.0mm and is suitable for measuring internal thread diameters ranging from 19.026mm to 149.026mm. The caliper also has an angle resolution of 0.01 grad and a double force accuracy of 0.01mm.
The digital block characteristic of the caliper offers excellent repeatability and can handle a maximum slider speed of 2.5m/s. The display refresh rate is greater than 10 times per second, providing real-time measurements. The caliper has a mean power consumption of 45A and a battery life of up to 8000 hours. It has an IP67 rating, making it resistant to dust and water.

Product Usage Instructions

Ensure that the caliper is powered on by pressing the MODE button.
To measure an internal thread diameter, select the appropriate item number from the list provided in the user manual.
Carefully position the caliper jaws around the internal thread and tighten them gently until they securely hold the thread.
Read the measurement displayed on the caliper’s digital screen. The measurement will be in millimeters or inches, depending on the selected item number.
If necessary, use the double force feature to apply additional pressure for more accurate measurements. The force can be adjusted using the EXT (external) and INT (internal) buttons.
To switch between metric and imperial units, use the SET button.
For wireless connection and data transfer to the MDS app, make sure to have the optional wireless module installed. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on setting up the wireless connection.
The caliper is IP67 rated, providing protection against dust and water. However, it is important to avoid submerging the caliper in water or exposing it to extreme conditions.
In case of battery replacement, refer to the user manual for instructions on safely replacing the battery.
