Introduction

Long distance transmission of high definition signals is very difficult because HDMI cable is very expensive and infrequent. This HDMI extender breaks the problem of the expensive HDMI cable transmission distance, simply use one network cat6/cat6a/cat7 cable in stead of HDMI cable to extend HDMI signal to 60m , saving your money and space.

  1. DC 5V: DC 5V Power interface. Connect to power adapter.
  2. HDMI IN:HDMI Input Interface. Connect to computer, DVD and other devices.
  3. IR OUT: IR Signal Output Interface. Connect to included IR blaster extensioncable. Note:( Do notconnectheadphoneto thisporttoprevent burning out the headphone.)
  4.  RESET: Reset Button.
  5. CAT6: RJ45 output interface.
  6.  LINK: HDMI signal indicator LED. It lights on all the time with HDMI signal input, flashes with no signal input.

  6. IR IN: IR Signal Input Interface. Connect to included IR receiver extension cable.
    Note: ( Do not connect headphone to this port to prevent burning out the headphone.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1.  Do not mix up HDMI to RJ45 sender and RJ45 to HDMI receiver before installation.
  2.  Do not hot plug when it is working.
  3. Use DC 5V power supply only. Make sure specification matched if using power adapters not supplied by factory.

Installation steps

  1. UseHDMIcabletoconnecttheHDMIsourcedevice(computergraphicscard, DVD, PS3, HD monitoring equipment etc) to the HDMI input interface of the HDMI to RJ45 sender(TX).
  2. Use HDMI cable to connect the HDMI display device like SDTV, HDTV, projector with HDMI port to the HDMI output interface of the RJ45 to HDMI receiver(RX).
  3. Use UTP/STP cat6/cat6A/cat7 cable to connect RJ45 output interface of the TX to the RJ45 input interface of the RX.
  4. Connect the IR blaster extension cable to the IR OUT interface of the TX and put the IR blaster in front of the DVD that need to be controlled.
  5. Connect the IR receiver extension cable to the IR IN interface of the RX and put the IR receiver in front of the TV.
  6. Connect the TX and RX to the DV 5V power supply. UTP/STP cat6/ cat6A/ cat7 cable follows standard IEEE-568B: 1-ORANGE/WHITE2-ORANGE 3-GREEN /WHITE4-BLUE5-BLUE/WHITE 6-GREEN7-BROWN/WHITE 8-BROWN

Note: Please use the machine as the instruction listed to keep the long life time of it.

  1. Please do not expose this unit to the damp, high-temperature, dusty, erosive, or oxidative environment.
  2. All parts will be free from the strong shake, hit, fall.
  3.  Please do not touch the power adapter plug with wet hands.
  4. Please hold the plug when unplugging. Do not pull the power cable directly.
  5. Please turn off power when the item is not in use.
  6. Please do not open the cover and do not touch the inside parts.

Please check all the cables carefully before installation and make sure all the interfaces are connected correctly. The common problems and the relevant solutions are showed as follows.
