Installation
Insert sealing washer between pump discharge and discharge pipe adapter.
Unscrew both upper plastic bolts (Sealing Pipe Bolts) on the 4″ section of the No-Vault top until they are at least flush with the inside diameter.
Insert pump and washer into no-vault and screw the Sealing Pipe Bolts back in to keep the washer and pump from sliding out of the no-vault when lifted.
The No-Vault pump filter works with most turbine pump configurations, but the Sealing Pipe may need to be modified. Check to make sure that the 4″ Sealing Pipe does not cover the Pump Intake. If it does, flow could be restricted. The pipe should be cut off to the point that the pipe ends above the in- take of the pump. Also check to make sure that the Sealing Washer is located inside of the sealing pipe. If the washer is not inside of the pipe, the pipe needs to be added to or a longer one installed. The pipe is 4″ S&D.
Cleaning
When cleaning, the screen can be separated from the no-vault fittings if needed. Unscrew the black bolt on the bottom fitting (Lower Screen Bolt) and the lower bolt on the upper fitting (Upper Screen Bolt) and then slide the screen out. Important: When reassembling make sure that the bolts go through the holes drilled in the screen, otherwise the filter may come apart.
Other Information
Your No-Vault model may have come with a corrugated insert installed. This insert is installed to im- prove the units strength and/or to draw water past the pump motor for cooling purposes.
