Product Usage Instructions

Battery Installation:

  • On the controller, unscrew and remove the battery cover
    located on the back of the controller.

  • Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries with correct polarization.

Flight Preparation:

  • Press and hold the drone power button for a few seconds. The propellers backlight will blink.
  • Place the drone on a flat surface with its back facing the user.
  • Switch the power switch on the controller to the ON position. A beep will be heard and the status indicator will turn on.
  • To pair the controller with the drone, use the left stick to move forward.

Battery Charging:

  • Remove the drone’s battery and connect it to the mains charger with a micro USB cable.
  • During charging, the LED indicator located next to the micro USB port will flash red.
  • When the battery is fully charged, the indicator will turn green.
  • Reinstall the fully charged battery on the drone.

Low Battery Alert:

  • The propeller backlight will flash to indicate low battery level.
  • Approximately 45 seconds after the low battery alert, the drone will automatically land.
  • The low battery status will also be signaled with a sound signal.

Take-off and Landing:

  • To turn on the drone’s motors, press the take-off/landing button or use the left stick to lower its flight until the drone settles on the ground.
  • To land, press the take-off/landing button or use the left stick to lower its flight until the drone settles on the ground. After this action, the drone’s motors will shut down.
  • Note: To emergency shut down the motors in flight, press and hold the take-off/landing button for about 3 seconds. The engines will shut down instantly and the drone will fall to the ground.

Drone Control:

  • Pushing the left stick forward will cause the drone to ascend. Pulling it towards you will cause the drone to descend. Pushing the left stick to the left or right will rotate it in the same direction around its axis.
  • Pushing the right stick forward will move the drone forward. Pulling it towards you will move the drone backward. Pushing the right stick left or right will move the drone in the same direction.
  • Pressing the right stick will enter flight calibration (trim) mode. The drone hovers in the air. Pushing the right stick calibrates the hover, depending on the side in which the drone flies independently. Pressing the right stick again disables this mode.

Additional Functions:

  • To change the backlight mode of the drone’s propellers, press the backlight mode change button.

  • To perform acrobatics, raise the drone to a height of about 2 meters on the ground. Then, press the drone’s flip button on thecontroller and push the right stick in the direction you want the drone to turn.
    Note: this function is unavailable if the drone’s battery is low.

  • To enable the headless mode, press the headless mode button. Once enabled, no matter how you rotate the drone, its movements will be relative to the controller’s position.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Read this instruction manual and keep it for future reference.

  • Choking hazard! Keep small parts away from children.
  • Never leave the battery unattended during charging.
  • Never dispose of battery into a fire.
  • Follow basic safety rules when operating the device.
  • Before using the product, make sure that the area you chose is free from obstacles. When operating the product always keep a safe distance from people and animals. Note, to avoid injury or damage, the device should not be flown at shorter distance than 2 meters / 7 feet from people or other obstacles.
  • Do not operate the product near power lines.
  • Take extra precaution while using the device.
  • Do not attempt to repair this device yourself. In case of damage, contact authorized service point for check-up or repair.
  • When the device is no longer in use, switch it off and then turn off the controller. If the device is not going to be used for a longer period of time, remove batteries from the transmitter.
  • Do not put the battery in high temperature or near heat sources.
  • Not suitable for persons under 14 years old. The users under 18 years of age can operate the product under adult supervision only.
  • Use only authorized accessories.
  • Don’t over-charge the battery.
  • Do not touch the motor during or after flights, as it may become hot.
  • Make sure that the replacement of propellers is done correctly.
  • Do not use the drone in rain or high wind.
  • Devices using radio waves can affect the shortened control range of a drone.
  • When flying a drone, please follow local laws related to unmanned aerial vehicle flying.

Markings A and B indicate the correct installation of propellers. If necessary, install them according to the diagram shown.

OPERATION

Battery

  1. On the controller, unscrew and remove the battery cover located on the back of the controller. Insert batteries with correct polarization.

  2. Remove the drone’s battery and connect it to the mains charger with a micro USB cable. During charging, the LED indicator located next to the micro USB port will flash red. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns green. It needs to be reinstalled on the drone.

  3. Low battery level will be indicated by flashing of the propeller backlight. About 45 seconds after the low battery alert, the drone will automatically land.

  4. Low battery status will be signaled with sound signal.

Flight preparation

  1. Press and hold the drone power button for few seconds. Propellers backlight will blink.
  2. Place the drone on the flat surface with its back to the user.
  3. On the controller, switch the power switch to the ON position. A beep will be heard and the status indicator will turn on.
  4. To pair the controller with the drone, use the left stick to move forward and backward. When paired correctly, the operating status indicator on the controller and the propeller backlight on the drone will be on solid light and a longer sound will be heard on the controller.
  5. The gyroscope inside the drone should be calibrated before each launch. Push the two sticks down to 45° as the picture shows, the propeller backlight will blink and turn solid that indicates the calibration is completed. Correct calibration will be indicated by the solid light of the two propellers.

Take-off and landing

  1. The drone’s motors can be turned on in two ways:

  2. by pointing the sticks down from each other at an angle of 45° -the engines will start to rotate, but the drone will remain on the ground. Then use the left stick by pushing it upwards – the drone will take off to the air.

  3. by pressing the drone’s take-off / landing button – the drone will rise to a height of about 1,5 m.

  4. To land, press the take-off / landing button or use the left stick to lower its flight until the drone settles on the ground. After this action, the drone’s motors will shut down.

  5. Note: To emergency shut down the motors in flight, press and hold take-off / landing button for about 3 seconds. The engines will shut down instantly and the drone will fall to the ground.

DRONE CONTROL

  • Pushing the left stick forward will cause the drone to ascend. Pulling it toward you will cause the drone to descend.

  • Pushing the left stick to the left or right will rotate it in the same direction around its axis.

  • Pushing the right stick forward will move the drone forward. Pulling it toward you will move the drone backward.

  • Pushing the right stick left or right will move the drone in the same direction.

  • Pressing the right stick will enter flight calibration (trim) mode. The drone hovers in the air. Pushing the right stick calibrates the hover, depending on the side in which the drone flies independently. Pressing the right stick again disables this mode.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

Propellers backlight change

  1. To change the backlight mode of the drone’s propellers, press the backlight mode change button.

Acrobatics

  1. Raise the drone to a height of about 2 meters on the ground.
  2. On the controller, press the drone’s flip button.
  3. Then push the right stick in the direction you want the drone to turn.

Note: this function is unavailable if the drone’s battery is low.

Headless mode

  1. Press the headless mode button to turn on this function.
  2. Once the headless function has been enabled, no matter how you rotate the aircraft, the direction to which the user is currently facing when the headlock mode was initialized will be always the heading / forwarding direction for aircraft (front of the drone will be dependent on the remote control). In this way, users don’t have to always keep watching on the aircraft to classify which side is front or which side is back.
  3. To deactivate this mode, press the headless mode button again.

Rotation around its axis

  1. To trigger rapid automatic rotation of the drone, press and hold the headless mode / rotation call button.
  2. The drone will rotate around its own axis.
  3. To deactivate this mode, press and hold the headless mode / rotation call button again.

Changing drone moving speed

  1. To change the speed of the drone, press the left stick.
  2. By default, the drone is set to a low speed.
  3. After the first press, the drone will enter medium speed mode -a double beep will be heard from the controller.
  4. A second press of the button will activate the high-speed mode -a triple beep will be heard from the controller.
