INSTALLATION AND SAFE USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the product on a flat surface.
- Connect the manufacturer supplied AC power adapter. The DCIW377 DISH requires the use of a 12 VDC, 1A power adapter in compliance with PS2 or LPS according to annex Q of UL 62368-1. Only use a manufacturer supplied and approved power adapter. Always first plug the adapter lead into the DCIW377 DISH, then the AC adapter into the AC wall socket. If you do not follow this sequence for set-up, you may get an electric shock.
- Connect the power adapter to the AC outlet in accordance with the markings on the identification label (voltage, current, and frequency of electricity network).
- Optionally, connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45/Ethernet ports. Then connect the other end of the Ethernet Cable to the Ethernet port of your internet service device.
When using this device, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons including the following:
- Do not use this product near water and avoid contact with moisture. For example, do not use it near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool. Care should be taken so that liquids are not spilled on this equipment.
- This equipment is for indoor use only, do not place or install it in an outdoor location.
- Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords. Doing so can result in the risk of fire or electrical shock.

- Care should be taken to ensure that the power cord is routed so it is not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or next to it.

- This equipment is not user serviceable and is to be serviced by qualified personnel only. Do not disassemble this equipment. If service is required, disconnect all power from the equipment and consult qualified service personnel.

- When applicable , the coaxial connector is intended to be imperatively connected, either to an antenna or an indoor antenna outlet fully galvanically isolated (core and shielding) at 1.5 kV ~ at least, or to an antenna or an antenna outlet whose shielding of the coaxial cable is earthed, in accordance with 6.2 g) and 6.2 l) of standard EN / IEC 60728 11 dealing the safety of cable distribution networks, and according the national installation rules.
