  • For use with cold or lukewarm ash only!
  • Never blow on ash, regardless of whether it is hot or cold!
  • Hot ashes or glowing ashes are a fire hazard. Due to the suction in the ash vacuum cleaner, embers may flare up as they are sucked in.
  • Check ashes carefully for hot embers by raking (use a poker or similar object).
  • If hot ashes are accidentally sucked up, place the container outdoors for at least 24 hours before disposing of them.
  • Try not to suck up charcoal, liquids, sharp or wet objects or large objects using the ash vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not use the ash vacuum cleaner unless the filter is fitted.
  • Do not use the ash vacuum cleaner for purposes other than cleaning hearths.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by supplier, retailer, it‘s service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Do not store or use the machine close to high temperature places.
  • If abnormal noise, smell, smoke or any other failure or breakage is found during the operation, you should turn off the switch and unplug it. Then contact with your service center for repair. Do not repair by yourself.

USE

  1. Attach the motor filter (B) to the fabric filter’s motor filter holder (A).
NOTE! Check that the motor filter (B) is correctly attached around the motor filter holder (A). It should also be cleaned after each intensive use.

  2. Attach the internal ash filter (C) and make sure that the edge seals tightly around the edge of the container.

  3. Place the cover (F) on the container (L) and secure it with the clamps (K).

  4. Attach the metal hose (D) to the suction connector (E) on the ash vacuum cleaner.

  5. Connect the ash vacuum cleaner to the mains and switch it on.

  6. You can now clean ash from your stove, fireplace or barbecue using the nozzle (M).
    • If the nozzle becomes blocked by a piece of charcoal or similar, switch off the ash vacuum cleaner. Carefully tap the nozzle against the inside of the stove or fireplace to dislodge the object.
    • If the suction power deteriorates during use, turn off the ash vacuum cleaner, remove the clamps from the cover and shake the cover to clean the filter.
    • Once you have finished cleaning, switch off the ash vacuum cleaner and hold the nozzle and hose vertically to allow loose ash to drip down into the container.
    • Once the container is full up to the suction connecter, empty the contents of the container out into suitable packaging material and dispose of it.
    • The ash vacuum cleaner can also blow if you attach the metal hose (D) to the exhaust connecter (I). Be particularly careful when using this function! When blowing, the container must be completely empty and clean, and the filter must be removed.
