The ILR-1200-3 is suitable not only for InfiRay MATE series products, but also for all day scopes with a 30mm tube for laser ranging.

Battery Installation

  • Rotate the battery compartment cover (1) counterclockwise.

  • Place a CR123 3.7V battery into the compartment according to the label in the battery compartment, that is, the positive pole faces inward and the negative pole faces outward.

  • Tighten the battery compartment cover (1) clockwise.
    Safety Instructions

  • Use the device within the recommended temperature range from -20°C to +50°C. The battery life may be impaired when using beyond this temperature rang.

  • The battery capacity drops when the device is used below zero. This is normal and does not indicate a defect.

Installation and Calibration

  • The ILR-1200-3 comes with a clamp (7) which is suitable for all day scopes with a 30mm tube diameter.
  • Install the ILR-1200-3 on the day scope through the 30mm clamp (7), and tighten the mounting screw (8).
  • After installation, if the position indicated by the laser is inconsistent with the reticle center on the Tube, the laser calibration is required.
  • Select a target that is10Om or 50m away.
  • Loosen the two precision adjustment screws (4) on the clamp (7) slightly.
  • Then, adjust the angle of the rangefinder until the position indicated by the laser indicator is aligned with the reticle center of the day scope.
  • Then tighten the precision adjustment screw (4) to fix.

Use with Day Scope

  • Press and hold the Power button (3) for 3 seconds to power on the rangefinder.
  • The ILR-1200-3 laser rangefinder supports the continuous scanning mode, and the distance measured will be shown on the display (2).
  • When the rangefinder is on, press the Power button (3) one time to turn on or off the laser indicator (5).
  • And press the Power button (3) twice in a row to switch the measurement unite between meter and yard.
  • After use, press and hold the Power button (3) for 3 seconds to power off it, and the display is off meanwhile.

Use with MATE Series

  • Power on the MATE device and get close to the ILR-1200-3.
  • Press and hold the Power button (3) to power on the ILR- 1200-3.
  • By briefly pressing the Power button (3) of the ILR-1200-3 8 times (or more) in a row, the ILR-1200-3 and the MATE will be connected automatically. After about 5 seconds, the distance can be displayed simultaneously on the displays of the MATE and the ILR-1200-3.
  • After connected with MATE, the laser indicator can also be turned on or off with a long press of the UP button on MATE.

Note:
After the first successful connection, the connection between the two devices will be automatically completed every time when they are powered on.
