Product Information
The 8581 BMW Screen is a display screen designed for BMW vehicles.
It comes in two sizes: 8.8 inches and 10.25 inches. The screen features an IPS touch display and is equipped with an original LVDS connector, a 4G antenna connector, and a GPS antenna connector. The 10.25-inch version also includes a SIM card slot, connectors for power cable, a USB connector, and an RST MIC USB connector.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Check whether all the accessories are fully arrived.
- Plug the screen main harness with the car’s original radio power cable.
- Install the other labeled cables to the car.
- Start the engine and the screen will be turned on.
- Check whether the connections and screen are working normally.
Operation Instructions
Home Menu: Slide or click on the screen to enter the functions such as GPS, setting, etc.
Functions Introduction
- Music: Supports local music and USB music.
- GPS Navi: Enters GPS function (default is Google Online Navi).
- Z-LINK: For Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
- MY BMW: Enters BMW car original system.
- Video: Supports local video and USB video.
- Bluetooth: After connection, can play BT music and make hands-free BT phone calls.
Vehicle Info: Displays original car info, door status, and seat belt
reminder.
Setting: Android settings, factory settings, etc.
APP: Enters Android application.
Android Interface
The functions on the Android system application interface
- Music: Click to enter music function.
- Video: Click to select local music or USB music; Click to enter video function and select local or USB video file.
- Map: Click to enter Google GPS navigation (default).
- File Manager: Click to enter the application page; Click to enter file manager function and check files on the screen and the USB drive.
- Dashboard with 7 colors choosing: Click to enter car dashboard page and display original car instrument information, seat belt reminder; Slide left and right to choose a variety of instrument panel color display.
- Bluetooth: Click to enter Bluetooth function; Customize BT name and pairing code; Search for BT name on mobile and confirm the connection; Make BT phone calls and play BT music.
- CarPlay and Android Auto: Click to make CarPlay and Android Auto working; Select iPhone or Android on screen according to mobile phone system; Connect CarPlay by clicking iPhone or connect Android Auto by scanning the code to download LINDK INNOVATION APP and selecting wireless connection on mobile after downloading the app; Follow the mobile connection wizard to complete the setup.
- Browser: Click to browse news, download apps, etc.
- 4G+WIFI Setting: Swipe down on the screen’s top right corner to enter the network shortcut settings.

Preparation before using
Installation
- Check whether the accessories are fully arrived or not.
- Plug our screen main harness with car original radio power cable, and install the other label’s cables to car. Last start the engine then screen will be turned on, and check whether the connections and screen are working normally or not.
It is working normally if screen shows this one page
Notice
1、if original system shows abnormal, then need to set it on android setting-
factory setting(password is 8888)-select the correct car mode. Until it shows
normally that the original bmw system display area is in the same size as the
original car screen.
2、if the sound is abnormal or totally haven’t, then need to switch to aux
audio source on original bmw system. (There are partial car models need to be
connected with the original fiber optic cable)

Click to enter the BT dialing interface
Click call records； 
Click to play BT music
CARPLAY and Android Auto
(Do according to following steps after connecting Bluetooth)
Click to make Carplay and android auto working. According to mobile phone
system, select iPhone or Android on screen. 
Connecting CARPLAY : click iPhone to enter CARPLAY interface， 
Connecting ANDROID AUTO : Click Android, scan the code to download LINDK INNOVATION APP, then select wireless connection on mobile after downloading the app. Last, operating it according to the mobile connection wizard. Android auto will work after finishing all steps.
Browser
Click on android system, according to the prompts, you can browse news, download APP, and etc.
4G+WIFI Setting
Swipe down on the screen right top corner to enter the network shortcut
settings 
Click WIFI button
to connect WIFI or not, long press it to enter the WIFI setting interface;
Click data button to use SIM card internet, long press it can check the card data usage;
Click can share the internet, long press the button can enter WIFI sharing interface;
Click this one button can restart screen.
SIM card Setting
Click Setting button , then enter system setting 
Click “Network &internet”, then you can choose the operator according to the SIM card traffic.

Navigation Selecting
Setting-Navigation, select the map APP you downloaded
Backcar, to set the reverse image
Turn on “Original” if car has original rear camera; set backbar mirror and
backbar trace; and ect.
About
Check screen software version and enter factory setting, password is 8888.

Enter BMW Settings, select the correct resolution on “Car Type” setting;
choose the sound switch method on “Car AUX Switch Mode”.
