Data Transfer Options
The Microtech Sub-Micron Tablet Micrometer offers multiple ways to transfer measurement data:

• Wireless connection to the Microtech MDS app for Windows, Android, and iOS devices
• USB data transfer using the HID (Human Interface Device) protocol
• Data can be saved in XLS and CSV formats for compatibility with CAD, SPC, and other software
• No additional dongle or hardware is required for data transfer
• Data can be transferred to Excel or other table editors
• Data can be transferred to any browser or app

Product Usage Instructions

Switching On and Off
To switch on the device, press the power button for 1 second. To switch off the device, press the power button for 3 seconds or wait for the auto switch off.

Data Transfer
Data can be transferred from the device using the following methods:

• USB: Connect the device to a PC or tablet using a USB cable and transfer data through a USB connection.
• Wireless: Establish a wireless connection between the device and the Microtech MDS app for Windows, Android, or iOS devices.
• Transfer data wirelessly to the app.

Saving Data
To save measuring data to the internal device memory, touch the data area on the screen or press the save button. The saved data can be viewed on the device or sent via wireless or USB connection to a Windows PC, Android device, or iOS device. The device supports standard and folder memory modes for organizing saved data.

Main Screen Indications
The main screen of the device provides various indications:

• Connection Status: Wireless disconnected, wirelessly connected, Wireless HID connected, USB HID disconnected, or USB HID connected
• Analog Scale: Displays analog scale readings
• Memory: Allows activation of standard or folder memory systems

The device also offers additional modes and functions for specific measurement requirements. Please refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on using these modes.
