OPERATION
A. Gas Burner
The minimum temperature is at the end of the rotation in the opposite
direction of the control knob.
All operating positions must be selected between the maximum and minimum
position.
The symbol on the control panel next to the control lever will indicate which
burner is in use.
OFF = gas valve is shut off
MAx. = Largest flame
MIN. = Smallest flame
The position of largest flame liquid material will boil very soon. When the
switch in the largest flame position, turn the thermostat knob to a desired
temperature suitable for every slow cooking and warming up of food.
Press the switch fully and revolve to the opposite direction of clock until it
reached the position of “MAX ”
Move the switch position from “MAX” to “MIN”, the burner will burn with medium
flame.
B. Ignition
Simply press the knob in, turn anticlockwise to maximum and the burner will
ignite. Before releasing knob, ensure a flame is established, if the burner
fails to ignite, put into off position and try again.
If in case of a power failure or failure of the ignition, a match or lighting
device can be used. Care must be taken when using this method.
The device shall not be operated for more than 15s. If after 15s the burner
has not lit, stop operating the device and open the compartment door and/ or
wait at least 1 min before attempting a further ignition of the burner (for
models with safety switch only).
In the event of the burner flames being accidentally extinguished, turn off
the burner control and do not attempt to re-ignite the burner for at least 1
min.
C. Choices of burners
To ensure maximum burner efficiency, use pots and pans with a flat bottom
fitting the size of the burner used.
If you use a saucepan which is smaller than the recommended size, the flame
will spread beyond the bottom of the vessel, causing the handle to overheat.
For a lower and more efficient gas consumption it is advisable to use pans
with a diameter adequate to the burners size, preventing the flame to burn in
the open. It is advisable to reduce the flame as soon as the liquid starts to
boil, and keep the flame to the minimum necessary to sustain boiling.

- Cleaning operations should only be carried out when the cooktop is completely cool.
- It must be disconnected from the mains before starting any cleaning process.
- Clean the cooktop regularly, preferably after each use.

Before cleaning any part of the cooktop, make sure the controls are OFF and
the cooktop is COLD. Remove spills and thick dirt as soon as possible. Regular
cleaning reduces the number of subsequent cleanings.
For cleaning stainless steel parts, enamels, glass and panel use a soft sponge
or a damp cloth with warm water and neutral soap.
Do not use metal scouring pads, abrasive powders and corrosive substances that
may scratch these parts.
Keep the electronic ignition electrodes of the burners, clean of crusts of
dirt.
Do not use tin foil to cover the cooktop cover, as it may cause stains on the
cover and impair the operation of the electrodes.
Do not allow acids or alkalis, such as vinegar, coffee, milk, salt water,
tomato juice, etc., to remain in contact with enamelled surfaces (burner
covers, grilles, the cooktop surface).
Cleaning of burners, lids and spreaders should be carried out periodically
with warm water and neutral soap. Before putting them back in place, rinse
thoroughly and check to see if they are all clean and dry.
The appearance of white or silver markings that appear to be scratches on the
table grates is normal. These marks occur due to the residue of the metal from
the pot bottom that accumulates in the grids.
Do not drop liquids or solids into the burner to avoid derailing the flame or
causing blockages. If that happens, turn off the burner, wait for it to cool
and wipe with a damp cloth.
Scouring pads are not recommended as they deteriorate the surface. Pan
support, control handles
-
Remove the pan holder.
-
Clean these and the handle controls with a damp cloth, wash with liquid soap and warm
water. In case of strong dirt, do so beforehand. Dry everything with a soft, clean cloth.

Dry the top plate thoroughly after cleaning.
-
Completely remove salty or liquid food from the plate as soon as possible to avoid the risk of corrosion. Stainless steel stop parts may become discolored over time. This is normal due to the high temperatures.
-
Whenever used, these parts should be cleaned with a product that is suitable for steel.
Trigger electrode & safety valve sensor
