Before first use, always read the safety instructions and warnings included in this guide. Failure to observe the below mentioned safety warnings and safety guidelines for may cause to electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries. Keep safety instructions and warnings at hand for future reference.

GENERAL SAFETY GUIDELINESS

  • This appliance is not intended for use by children under the age of 8 or other persons, without assistance or supervision, if their physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely or by persons without experience and knowledge on the use thereof. People using this product must understand the risks related to the use of the appliance. Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy.

  • Cleaning and maintenance by children without supervision is not allowed. Children are not aware of dangers that may arise during the use of electric devices.

  • Keep the appliance and corresponding cord out of the reach of children under the age of 8.

  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord.

  • Damaged power cord must be replaced by manufacturer, authorized service centre or other qualified persons in order to avoid risk.

  • Do not allow the power cord to touch sharp edges or hot surfaces.

  • The plug must fit the socket.

  • The plug must not be modified in any way.

  • Disconnect the unit from the mains when you don’t use it.

  • While removing the plug from the socket do not pull by the power cord. The device is designed for indoor use only. It cannot be used or stored in places exposed to weather factors.

  • Avoid rain or moisture when using the appliance.

  • Use soft damp (not wet) cloth with mild detergent. Do not use solvents, petrol or other and other measures that would damage the device. Transport in an original package protecting from mechanical damages. The appliance must be repaired by a qualified person using only original spare parts.

  • Do not leave the appliance running unattended.

  • While the device is running, cannot be covered.

  • Use the device at a safe distance from inflammable materials such as: curtains, paper, bedding, wooden or plastic elements, etc.

  • WARNING! If the heating surface is cracked, turn the power off to avoid electric shock.

  • WARNING! The device is not intended to work with external time switches or separate remote control system.

  • WARNING! Accessible surfaces may become hot during use. Do not touch the accessible surfaces during use. Pay particular attention to children and animals.

  • NOTE!
    Despite proper use of the device and following all safety guidelines, some specific residual risks cannot be completely eliminated.

  • Before cleaning, unplug from the mains.

  • Store and transport in a package protecting against dust, moisture and mechanical damages.

PURPOSE AND USE

The device is designed for cooking and re-heating food and only for domestic use. The appliance should only be used for private use, as intended for the appliance. This appliance is not intended for commercial use.

WARNING!
Before plugging, make sure if the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage given on the appliance’s name plate. Device is made in the first protection class, which means that it must be plugged into an electrical outlet with a ground prong.

  • Put the appliance on a flat surface that is resistant to high temperature. Turn the adjustment knob to start the device. This is evidenced by the control lamp.
  • During the first start set the adjustment knob to “MAX” position.
  • WARNING! During the first use, an unpleasant odour and gentle smoke can appear. This may last a few minutes. If this condition persists for a long time, turn the device off.
  • After reaching the set temperature the thermostat will disconnect the heating element.
  • Before each use, check the condition of the appliance for mechanical damages, check if the power cord is not damaged. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord.
  • Turn the knob from “OFF” to the desired value from the “MIN” to “MAX”. The indicator light illuminates when the heating element is working. The thermostat will maintain the temperature set by the user periodically switching on and off the heating element.
  • Do not use pots that are unstable and can fall over. Use flat-bottomed pots to ensure the best possible contact with the hotplate.

CLEANING AND CARE

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Allow some time for the device to cool down. Use soft damp (not wet) cloth with mild detergent. Do not use solvents, petrol or other and other measures that would damage the device. Do not use implements that could damage the surface of the oven.

FAILURES

Disconnect from the mains and contact authorized service centre for possible repair.

  • Store out of reach of children. Protect against dust, humidity, and mechanical damage.
