General information
DD cam WAX blanks can be machined with all milling systems. Only recommended milling tools for the milling system should be used for processing and milling. Please always make sure customers follow the instructions for use applicable to the product. -
Storage
Protect from direct sunlight. Protect from moisture. -
Areas of application
DD cam WAX is not intended for intraoral use. The material can be used to make frameworks for crown and bridge models. These models can then be used in the casting process, e.g. for the fabrication of dental restorations. The wax burns out without trace. -
Finishing
The milled frameworks can separated from the blanks with tungsten carbide cross-cut burs suitable for wax or with suitable cutting discs.
4.1 Spruin g
The rules for designing and making sprues depend on the alloy or the press ceramic used. You can find detailed information on the alloys in the instructions for use of the manufacturer.
4.2 Investing
Use a ceramic ring liner. Mix the investment material under vacuum and invest in the usual way. Always follow the instructions for use pertaining to the investment material and the alloy or press ceramic being used. -
Disposal
DD cam WAX made from synthetic wax. Residues can be reused for conventional wax jobs. It can also be disposed of through the domestic refuse disposal system. DD cam WAX is water-insoluble, inert and presents no hazard to the ground water.
