About this User Manual

This user manual is designed to detail the camera’s functions and features.

  • Please read this manual carefully before using the camera to ensure safe and proper use.
  • Descriptions are based on the camera’s factory default settings.
  • PROVISION-ISR continuously strives to improve its products. Due to software upgrading, some contents in this user manual may vary from your product.

Warnings!

  • For your own safety, please do not install or operate while driving.
  • Before using for the first time, we recommend to format the memory card.
  • Built-in battery operational time is around 30 minutes; please connect to a power source for daily use.
  • Do not attempt to remove the camera mount forcefully.
  • Do not dismantle or open the camera.
  • Do not put any weight on the camera as it may damage the screen.
  • If the camera is not responding, please try to reset it by pressing the reset button.
  • Please keep the camera lens clean.

Dash cam Installation

  1. Before starting video recording, please insert a Micro SD card (not included) into the slot until it locks in place.
    Please pay attention:

    • The Micro SD (ff) card can be up to 64GB (class 10 and above is recommended)
    • The Micro SD {TF) card needs to be formatted. You can format it using the camera (explained in Page 8)
    • Lay the “car charger” cable provided in the box between the camera to the car’s cigarette lighter socket of car (see suggested diagram).
    • Insert the “Back Camera” cable (see suggested diagram) and plug the back camera connector to the Dash camera.
    • Plug-in “Mini USB” side to camera and Car Charger side to the car’s cigarette lighter socket.
    • Ready to go!
    • When the car’s engine is turned on, the camera will switch on automatically and will start video recording.
    • When the car’s engine is turned off, the camera will automatically turn off.

Initial Settings

  1. Set Date & Time:

    • Click the screen display menu.
    • Click to enter system setting, then click to enter system setting menu.
    • Click on shown date to set the current date.

  2. Format SD Card

    • A. Click the icon to enter “Setting”, then click the “System” setting icon to enter system settings.
    • B. Then click “Format” option to format the Micro SD (TF) card.

A. Standby Mode:

Main Menu:

  • Start recording: Click to start recording the video.
  • Snap Shot: Click to take picture.
  • Playback: Click to view the video & picture files.
  • Setting: Enter system setting
  • View Mode: Switch among the different display modes.

B. Recording Mode:

When the camera is recording, click anywhere on the screen the following menu will come on:

  • Start recording: Click to stop the video recording and go standby mode.
  • Snap Shot: Click to take picture.
  • View Lock: During Video recording, click to lock the current video file and protect current file from being deleted.
  • View Mode: Switch among the different display modes.

Playback Mode:
Click the screen to display menu, than click playback ” ” to view your recorded files. You can browse the left menu of your front camera video files, back camera video files and images.

  1. Front Camera: front 360″ camera video files

D. Display Mode:

  • 360° Mode: Allows you to enjoy a full 360° view to monitor your car’s interior and exterior at the sam time. In 360° mode you can swipe to enjoy a 360° viewing experience.
    Notice: Lens must point down to enjoy 360° mode

  • 180° Mode: A llows you to enjoy the widest angle available in the market while using this Dash Cam a a traditional front windshield viewing camera.
    Notice: Lens must point to front towards windshield while using this mode.

  • Front & Back Mode: Allows you enjoy 2 independent 180° front and back panoramic displays.
    Notice: Lens must point down to enjoy 360° mode.

  • 4CH Mode: It will display the 360° Camera in 4 independent 90″ channel displays. Each channel can be swapped to all 360° directions so you can adjust each channel view of angle based on your needs

B. Recording Mode:

When the camera is recording, click anywhere on the screen the following menu will come on:

  • Power off: Dash cam will turn off immediately.

  • Parking: Dash cam will enter “Parking Mode” after 1 minute. Parking mode is designed to monitor unusual events when you are away from your car. Once Dash cam’s G-sensor detects an impact vibration, the camera will automatically turn on and start recording a 10 seconds video clip. This vide will be Auto-locked and protect the file from being deleted by cameras cycling overwriting function.

  • Cancel: Camera will keep working normally as long as you operate it, and turn off automatically once you stop operation.

  • File Duration: Set file duration for each video clip recorded
  • G-Sensor Sensitivity: Set G-Sensor sensitivity level
  • Voice Recording: Set the Voice recording ON/OFF

Setup Computer Software for Playback
360° Dash cam video files can be played in any common video player (such as VLC) in fisheye mode, however if you wish to enjoy a real 360° video experience, you MUST use our VeSee dedicated 360° video player. This video player is already embedded into your SD card.

Please notice: VeSee 360° video player is compatible with Windows computers only. To install VeSee player simply double click “VeSee_setup.exe” file found on your SD card main directory and follow the installation wizard steps:

Special Features

  1. Loop Recording
    The camera will keep recording until the storage is full. When this happens, the camera will overwrite the earliest recording with new footage. This feature enables the camera to record non-stop with limited storage space.

  2. G-Sensor
    The camera arrives with a G-sensor, which detects movement. In the event of a collision or sudden accel­eration/ deceleration the camera will protect the most recent footage from being overwritten.

  3. Auto Power On/Off
    When the car engine is on, the camera will automatically turn on and will start video recording. When the car’s engine is turned off, the camera will automatically turn off.

  4. Battery Indicator

  5. Reset
    If during use, the camera recording becomes abnormal or crashes, you can press the RESET button to reset the camera operating system.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem : Cannot take photo or record.
  • Solution: Check if Micro SD card has enough space or it is locked.
  • Problem: Automatic stop while recording.
  • Solution: Use a compatible high-speed Micro SD care!. (Class 10 and above)
  • Problem : “File error” appears when replaying video or photo.
  • Solution: Micro SD card storage error, please format your Micro SD card.
  • Problem : Unclear video
  • Solution : Check for any dirt or fingerprints on the lens, and use lens cloth to clean the camera lens.
  • Problem : Black image when recording sky or water scenes.
  • Solution: Scenes with high contrast will influence the automatic exposure function of the camera, you can adjust ‘EV’ in setting mode to correct exposure.
