Components
Get Started
Charge the Camera
- Use your existing USB charging port to initially charge your device before you install it on your vehicle and charge it when needed.
- Connect the charging cable to the Micro USB port of the camera.
- Plug the charging cable into any standard USB charger with an output rating of 1500mAh or higher.
- Charge for about 4 ~ 5 hours
Attention:
- If you are leaving your vehicle unused for more than half a month, press the power button on the right side to turn off the camera. This prevents the battery from discharging.
- After its own battery is fully charged, the backup camera can work continuously for 7 .5 hours. If the battery used three times a day for 60 seconds, the working time of a fully charged battery is about 45 days to 2 months. If the battery indicator bar shows that the battery is in a low state of charge, please charge the battery in time. (The working hours is for your reference only, it also depends on the using environment.)
- If you use a power bank or a jump starter to charge the device, make sure that its battery capacity is no less than 5000mAh.
- If the product has been installed, you can charge the battery by USB cable using a mobile power supply or jumper starter instead of moving it from your vehicle. Or you can remove the battery as following instructions and then charge it.
- Unscrew the anti-theft screw of the camera with the equipped screwdriver;
- Remove the camera in the direction specified below.
Test the System
- To ensure that all components are working properly, please test the system before installing.
- When the monitor is getting powered, the indicator lights on the monitor will flash once, indicating that the monitor is on and ready to work;
- Press the power button and tum on the rear camera;
- When the monitor is connecting with the rear camera and display the rearview, the indicator on the camera will glow steadily;
- After the setting working time is over, you can activate the system by pressing the button on the car charger or any buttons on the screen.
- The indicator light on the screen will flash twice, and then the image will display again. If not, please refer to the troubleshooting.
Installation
Install the Rear Camera
- Remove the license plate from your vehicle.
- Snap the bracket of camera into the license plate.
- Align the hole of the camera bracket with the hole of the license plate. Then tighten the license plate with screws.
- You can also install the camera on the bottom of the license plate.
- If you install the camera on the bottom of the license plate, please adjust the image’s direction in the setting menu to avoid image inversion.
Adjust the Camera Angle
The camera can be rotated up and down by 30°, you can adjust it according to
your needs.
Mount Iha Monitor
- Clean and dry the mounting surface before fixing the suction cup bracket.
- Press the suction cup bracket against the mounting surface and push the suction cup lock lever down to lock the suction cup.
- Slide the monitor into the bracket. The angle of the monitor can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the rotary knob.
- Insert the monitor car charger into a 12V/24V DC power supply
Operation
Display Rear View
- Turn on the camera ( Please make sure the camera is fully charged, see “Charge the Camera”)
- Start your vehicle, the monitor gets powered then the rearview will display. (If no image display, press the button on the car charger or any buttons on the screen to activate the system)
Camera Status Light Quick Reference
Operate the Monitor
- M: Menu/ Return/ Confirm
- Forward/ Increase button
- T: Back / Decrease button
- Press the “M” button to access the setting menu. The display will show the setting menu for approx 3–5 seconds
- Press “ ” or “ ” to increase/decrease, or switch between the following menu items:
- Pair: pair the Iha monitor with the Iha backup camera
- B/C Control: adjust brightness and contrast
- M/U Control: switch to Mirror/Norma/Up/Down Image
- Reversing Time: sat the duration of reversing display time
- Guide Line: activate or deactivate guideline
- Reset: return lo factory settings
Indication of Battery Power
Optional Accessory – Solar Panel
In addition to charging the battery by USB cable, you can also use the optional accessory – solar panel to charge it. Under the condition that the solar panel can be fully exposed to sunlight for 2 hours a day, and you are using it 3 times a day for 60 seconds each time, you should no need to charge the camera for 3 to 9 months. (The charging effect of solar panel and working hours is for your reference only, it also depends on the using environment.)
Package
Install the Solar Panel
- Solar Panel and Camera Separated Install
- CD Stick double-sided tape on the solar panel.
- Loosen screws and remove the license plate from your vehicle.
- Remove the charging cover of the camera, insert the plug on the solar panel to the micro socket of the camera, press the cover, and make sure that they are connected properly.Hide the wire connecting the solar panel and the camera behind the license plate.
- Align the hole of the camera bracket with the hole of the license plate. Then tighten the license plate with screws.
- Tear off the double-sided tape on the solar panel and then stick the solar panel on the bottom of the license plate frontside
Solar Panel Install onto the Camera

CD Fasten the bracket to the solar panel with screws dedicated to the bracket. (Use a standard screwdriver to tighten screws.)

Unscrew the anti-theft screw on the camera with the equipped anti-theft screw screwdriver.

Slide the solar panel into the camera in the direction shown below.

Remove the cover from the camera charging port. Insert the plug on the solar panel to the micro socket of the camera, press the cover, and make sure that they areconnected properly.

Troubleshooting
- The red light of the indicator keeps flashing when in charge
- Possible cause: The power adapter can”! supply enough current
- Solution: Please change to another power adapter which reaches to 5V/1.5A
- The monitor doesn’t work even though camera battery is fully charged(green light stays on)
- Posslble cause: The camera doesn~ turn on/the camera loose pairing
- Solution: (D Please press the On/Off switch to turn on camera again
- If ii doesn’t work, please re-pairing the monitor to the camera as following steps:
- Power the monitor and press M button to enter the menu.
- Choose Pair and press M button to confirm. The monitor is pairing and the monitor indicator light flickers.
- Press the camera battery switch for 5s. The camera is pairing and the camera indicator light flickers.
- The monitor indicator light off and the monitor displays reversing image. The pair is done.

FAQS
If charging via usb, do i need to unscrew the camera to charge or is the
usb port accessible, while it is still mounted?
The USB port is accessible while is mounted. Just pull the end part out. It
sits very snug in order to prevent water intrusion
how can I tell if solar charging is working? It depleted finally, doesn’t
show any charging indicator.?
According to the manufacturer, the solar charges the panel slowly, about
two weeks per bar.
Can I install this if I can only unscrew one side of my license plate?
If you can unscrew the bottom side(all screws) of your license plate, you
can try to install the camera to the bottom of your license plate
Is the camera resolution 720p?
Yes it is 720p camera resolution
Do the monitor and camera automatically come on when backing up, or do you
have to push the button each time?
You have to push the button. It will only come on when you back up
automatically if you WIRE the CAMERA directly to the BACK UP portion of your
back up lights.
Can the camera position be adjusted or flipped to focus on viewing upcoming
curbs rather than upcoming cars?
No but at the same time it has a wide lens so it covers most of the back
spot
Are the parts compatible with Auto Vox?

Does the camera offer proximity sensing.?
No the camera offer proximity sensing
How do you select between cameras? Can you have a split screen?
The buttons on the right side of the monitor let you select front or back
camera to look at.
Does the optional second camera also come with a solar panel? Does it come
witl a mount?
It comes with mounting hardware, but not with solar panel, but you can order a
solar panel for it.
What is the viewing angle?
About 140 degrees
The charger broke where may I get another?
Any phone charger will work.
How much is it to add solar to 2nd camera?
This is a great addition to my car that doesn’t have a backup camera
