Assembly Instructions

Warranty

5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY WHAT IS COVERED
For customers in the contiguous United States, with proof of purchase from an authorized retailer, this product is warranted for a period of 5 years from original purchase date against defect in materials and workmanship under normal use. At the manufacturer’s sole discretion, products under warranty will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge to the customer. Returns for refund (of new, unused, unassembled items) must be sent via prepaid freight in original retail packaging. This warranty is extended only to the original owner. Proof of purchase is required before warranty service can be rendered.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does NOT cover normal wear/weathering; exposure to water, freezing temperatures, oils, fluids, or chemicals; use in a commercial context if the unit is not designated as a commercial model; failures resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration/modification, failure to maintain, improper assembly/maintenance, unauthorized service, use of aftermarket components; or damage attributable to acts of God/nature.

Never use a power tool to assemble or adjust hardware connections. Overtightening hardware can strip the threads.

Pre-assembly

PLANNING ASSEMBLY

• Before beginning assembly of each piece of the set, completely empty contents of the relevant cartons and remove all packing material. Make sure all parts and hardware are present. If any parts are missing, contact the Customer Service Team.
• Before installing the unit, check the minimum clearances to combustibles below to ensure that the surrounding area is properly sized for the installation.

SELECTING A LOCATION

• Choose an area that is level and clear of debris.
• The area should be large enough to comfortably accommodate the full set of fire pit table, seating, and tank housing without blocking entrances or exits from the immediate area or adjacent buildings.
• Ideally, locate the fire pit table in an open area without a roof or overhang.
• Minimum clearances from the fire pit burner to combustible materials are: 48 in. (4 ft.) from all sides and 72 in. (6 ft.) overhead.

PLANNING ASSEMBLY

Before beginning assembly, completely empty contents of carton and remove all packing material. Make sure all parts and hardware are present. If any parts are missing, contact the Customer Service Team.
Estimated assembly time: 30 minutes
NOTE : Place all parts on a soft, nonabrasive, level surface for assembly. Do not overtighten hardware.

TOOLS REQUIRED

HARDWARE INCLUDED

• NOTE : Hardware not shown to actual size.
• NOTE : To expedite assembly, place a washer (BB) on each hex bolt (AA) before you begin.

PACKAGE CONTENTS

NOTE : Place all parts on a soft, nonabrasive, level surface for assembly. Do not overtighten hardware connections.

Assembly

Connecting the left side and seat.

• Place a washer (BB) on each of four bolts (AA).
• Align the side of the seat (B) with the horizontal support on the left side (A) as shown.
• Insert the bolts through the four holes in the left edge of the seat (B) and into the left side (A).
• Finger-tighten the bolts (AA), but do not fully tighten to allow for adjustments as you continue assembly.

Attaching the right side to the seat

Repeat the above steps to attach the right side (C) to the seat (B).

Attaching the backrest

• Place a washer (BB) on each of eight bolts (AA).
• Place the backrest (D) vertically between the two sides (A and C) as shown. Align the bolt holes in the backrest (D) with the bolt holes in each adjoining part.
• Insert four bolts (AA) through the four holes in the vertical edges of the backrest (D) and into the sides (A and C).
• Finger-tighten the bolts (AA), but do not fully tighten to allow for adjustments as you continue assembly.
• Insert the last four bolts (AA) through the holes in the back edge of the seat (B) and into the bottom of the backrest (D) , then finger tighten.
• When all hardware is in place, check to be sure the sofa sits level and all joints are well aligned. Adjust as necessary, then firmly tighten all sixteen bolts (AA). Do not overtighten the hardware.

Placing the cushions

• Place the seat cushions (F) and back cushions (E) on the assembled sofa.
• Assembly is complete and the sofa is ready for use.

Maintenance

To ensure your outdoor furniture lasts for years to come, perform regular maintenance as needed.

FRAME MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the hardware on the chairs and sofa to ensure that they remain secure. Adjust as necessary. Touch up any nicks or scratches with a durable outdoor paint in order to maintain the protective finish.

Care and Cleaning

FRAME CARE

• Dust furniture regularly in order to maintain finish.
• For spot cleaning, spray off any debris with a hose and brush off any dirt or debris. Dry with a soft cloth. Mold and mildew grow well in environments with dirt and moisture.
• For a more thorough cleaning, mix warm water with a mild cleaner and remove any debris. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. Furniture should always be cleaned prior to storage and periodically during use.
• A weekly rinse is recommended if furniture is in a saltwater environment. After cleaning, allow the furniture to dry thoroughly. Avoid standing water on the furniture.
• When furniture is not in use for an extended period of time, the use of covers is recommended once the furniture is thoroughly dried. Cushions should be removed and stored in a dry place if possible.

CUSHION CARE

• Dust fabric weekly and remove dirt before it becomes embedded.
• For cleaning, use a mild cleaner with warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Flip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.
• Avoid standing water on the surface of cushions.
• Cushions should be stored in a dry place if possible.
