MAIN FERTURES

Automatic smart battery bank charger & maintainer:

  • Suitable for charging a variety of batteries (SLA, GEL, AGM, MF. DRY. Ca/Ca, LifeP04). this charger reacts continuously to battery condition and delivers whatever charge rate is required. The bank charger outputting 3x2A depending on the condition and the charge rate of each battery. constantly regulated voltage patterns allow the battery to be recharged fully and safely without fear of overcharging.
  • Easy to Use: The battery charger is easy to operate and requires no technical experience. Automatic voltage detection: V/12V output.
  • 3 individuals channels = This charger allows to charge 3 batteries in same time (with different voltage. capacities or technologies).
  • Charge & Maintain – Automatic Charge: On power up, the charger will automatically go to charging system, then could be left unattended and never overcharge your batteries.
  • Charge & Maintain – Automatic Maintenance: When the battery is charged to «full» state, the charger automatically switches to maintain the battery. It will monitar the battery voltage and continue to peak performance to the battery.

SAFETY & TEMPERATURE FEATURES

  • Output short circuit protection.
  • Overcharge protection.
  • Reverse polarity protection: The charger has reverse polarity and short circuit protection. If a reverse battery condition exists (LED power will turn flash in RED, only, while output leads are connected backwards). simply unplug charger from AC power and properly remake the connections as described in this manual.
  • Internal overheat protection: Fulload chargers have an internal overheat protection. The power will be reduced of the ambient temperature is raised.
  • Corrasion-resistant output connecters.
  • Output clips and ring terminals provided: It comes with a quick connect fly lead and 2 different kinds of connectors, crocodile clips and eyelets terminal. The eyelets terminals are perfect for permanent connection to your battery. You can connect the lead to the battery and tuck the lead away while you are using your vehicle and when you get back to your garage simply plugs the lead back inta the charger.

BATTERY TYPES & GAPACITY

  • Suits all lead acid type batteries (SLA. GEL. AGM. MF. DRY. Ca/Ca. LiFeP04) and lithium (LiFeP04).
  • BY/12V automatic detection.
  • Battery capacity: the following maximum Ah capacities are to be used as a general guide only: some batteries maybe able to handle a higher charge current. Check with the battery manufacturer when charging batteries with small capacity.
Charge current 2A/channel
Battery capacity charging 4-40Ah
Battery capacity maintaining 4-120Ah

CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 – Pre charge check & electrolyte level check

  • Check the Battery Electrolyte level (Not required on Sealed or Maintenance Free Batteries). If necessary, remove the vent caps and add distilled water so the levels are halfway between the upper and lower fill lines.
  • Check the Voltage Output Switch on the charger and make sure it’s on the correct voltage.

STEP 2 – Connecting the battery charger to your battery

  • Select the plug needed (eyelets or alligator clips) and connect it to the charger.
    Charger

  • Connect the Red lead from the charger to the positive (+) battery terminal.

  • Connect the Black lead from the charger to the negative (-) battery terminal.

STEP 3 – Connect the battery charger to mains power (240Vac)

  • Connect the battery charger to a 240Vac Mains Powered socket.
  • Turn on the 240Vac Mains Pawer.
  • The charger will automatically start when AC power is connected and switched on. (Note: If the Power Indicator LED flashes in Red. please check your connections as it’s likely that the Positive and Negative Leads are reversed. Refer to Trouble Shooting Page for further information, see «LED STATUS INDICATORS TABLE»).

STEP 4 – Disconnecting the battery charger from battery

  • Switch OFF and Remove the AC Power Socket from the outlet.
  • Remove the Black lead and then the Red lead.
  • Check electrolyte levels if possible (As they may need topping up with distilled water after charging).

THE CHARGING PROCESS

The charging stages are as follows:

  • Battery check:

  • If the battery voltage is more than 7.5V, the charger will charge the batteries according to 12V made. the 12V LED LIGHT will turn RED.

  • If the battery voltage is less than 7.5V, the charger will charge the batteries according to BV mode. the BY LED LIGHT will turn RED (see «LED STATUS INDICATORS TABLE»).

  • The charger begins charging with 0.8A low current to recover the batteries automatically if the batteries are not full.
    Bulk charge:

  • Charges using a constant maximum current (ZA) until the battery reaches 7.2V (BV Batteries) or 4.4V (12V Batteries) – (LED Color- RED). Maintenance/Pulse:

  • Battery is fully charged and is being maintained. (LED Calor – GREEN).
