Product Information

The DDSU666 Energy Meter is a device that can achieve energy management together with the Solar  single phase inverter. It is designed for use in a 80A system or below, and is capable of measuring the import, export, and total power and energy. The meter is equipped with a single phase input port and an RS485 port for communication.

Introduction

Wiring Connection

Step 1
RS485 terminal connection

  1. Prepare a communication cable
  2. Trip the insulation from the communication cable.
  3. Connect the meter communication cable and inverter with reference to the inverter manual
  4. Connect the other end of the communication  cable to the port 24 and 25 of meter. See the guru for the connection.

PS The color of the communication cable in the figure is for reference only. Please refer to the  actual situation for the specific connection.

Step 2
Current wire connection

  1. Insert the L wires to the ports 1 and 3 of the meter  respectively. Connect port 1 with Grid terminal and port  3 with Load terminal.
  2. Connect N wires with the port 2 of the meter.

LCD description

  1. Meaning that the meter is showing the voltage, the unit is ‘V’

  2. Meaning that the meter is showing the current, the unit is ‘A’

  3. Meaning that the meter is showing   power, the unit is ‘W

  4. Meaning that the meter is showing the   active energy, the A

  5. Meaning that the meter is showing the communication protocol

  6. Meaning that the current 645 address is 100000000011

  7. Meaning that the current 645 address is 100000000011

  8. Meaning that the baud rate is 24
