Button Settings

On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the device on. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the device off.
Start/Stop Recording
Press the Video Record button to start the video recording, press it again to stop.
The VC-1-Pro will beep to confirm the button presses.
Red Video Record LED:

  • Red LED On: Indicates the device is not recording.
  • Red LED Flashing: Indicates the device is recording.

If the device is connected to the Wi-Fi App, recording can be controlled via an Android smartphone.
If the VC1-Pro is programmed to record on startup, the camera will beep once powered and then start recording automatically. To stop recording, press the Video Record button.
Photo Snapshot
Press the Photo button to take a picture when the device is powered on. The VC-1-Pro will beep twice to confirm the button press and the photo capture.
If the device is connected to the Wi-Fi App, Photos can be controlled via an Android smartphone.
Extra Modes
Record on Start-up: When enabled, the VC-1-PRO will automatically start recording after the camera powers up.
DashCam Mode: When enabled, the VC-1-PRO turns on and starts recording automatically when power is connected to the camera via the USB port.
The camera will also automatically turn off when power is removed. In DashCam Mode, the camera should power on and off with your car when plugged into the correct car socket

Retrieving Footage

Windows Application
Download the Visiotech VC-1-PRO CamManager from the Comvision Website and install it.
Plug the camera into the Windows PC using the USB-C cable provided. Start the VC-1-PRO CamManager Software Enter your password to unlock the camera (Default password is: 000000)
Videos & Photos
Once the software has unlocked the camera it will automatically load the cameras video files into the video tab and the cameras photos into the images tab. Click on the respective tabs to move between Videos and Images.COMVISION Visiotech VC-1 PRO Badge Camera - fig
5Double-click on the file you want to view. Media controllers are at the bottom of the window to control video files.
To save footage from the camera to your PC, select the files in the playlist and then Click the Save button, you will then be prompted to select the save location.
To delete files from the camera, select the files in the playlist and right- click to delete. You will then be prompted to confirm the delete.

Camera - QR Turning the Wi-Fi Camera hotspot On & Off
Pressing the Video Record button for 3 seconds will turn the cameras Wi-Fi hot spot On or Off while the device is in standby mode.
The Video Record button LED will turn Blue to indicate Wi-Fi is turned on.
Connecting the APP to VC-1-PRO Camera

  1. Press the Video Record button for 3 seconds.

  2. The Video Record button LED will turn Blue to indicate Wi-Fi is on.

  3. Start the “VC-1” Android App on your Android phone.

  4. Click “Connect Your Device”

  5. This loads the phones Wi-Fi network options including the VC-1 Pro

  6. Select the VC-1 Pro which will be named “wifi_camera_c1j_xxxxxxxx”
    • Default Wi-Fi password is 1 23 4 5 6 7 8 9 0

  7. Press the back button to return to the VC-1 Pro App

  8. The VC-1 Pro App will connect to the cameras and start live streaming.

  9. VC-1-PRO App users can then:
    • Stream live video
    • Display recorded files and download the files to the phones Gallery
    • Start and stop recording from the App
    • Take a photo from the App
    • The time and date on the camera is automatically updated from the App on connection.
    • Camera settings can be changed from the settings page.

Warranty and Returns

  1. Camera has 12-month warranty from date of purchase.
  2. This warranty does not extend to product subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, water, and moisture.
  3. For product return contact your reseller.
