Product Usage Instructions

1. Charging the Appliance:
   • Use only the adapter supplied with the appliance.
   • Insert the plug into the appliance and connect the adapter, ensuring that the multi trimmer is in the OFF position.
   • Before using the appliance for the first time, charge it for two consecutive 8-hour charging cycles.
   • Check that the charging indicator light is on.
   • A full charge provides 70 minutes of cordless use.
   • Once the trimmer is fully charged, the charging indicator light will automatically switch off.
   • To maintain maximum battery autonomy, carry out two consecutive charge cycles (2×8 hours) every three months. The Ni-MH batteries will reach full autonomy after the first four charge cycles (4×8 hours).
2. Cordless Operation:
   • Once the appliance is fully charged, unplug the adapter from the mains socket and appliance.
   • Prepare the trimmer for use.
3. Preparation for Use:
   • Always inspect the appliance for noticeable signs of damage before use. Do not use if damaged.
   • Ensure the blades are free from hair and debris.
   • Make sure the appliance is sufficiently charged.
   • Use on clean, dry hair that has been combed until tangle-free.
4. Using the Adjustable Stubble Comb Guide for Precision Trimmer:
   • The adjustable stubble comb guide allows you to control the length of your stubble.
   • Experiment to find your preferred length, but as a guide, 1mm will give you a very short stubble beard, and 3.5mm will be a short, neater beard.
   • Select a cutting length (1-3.5mm) using the slide switch on the top of the comb.
   • Once you have selected your desired cutting length, the guide automatically locks into position for a guaranteed, even cut.
   • Switch the trimmer on by sliding the power button up. The blades will start to move, and you can begin trimming. Please refer to the user manual for safety instructions and usage details in other languages (Deutsch, Nederlands).

CHARGING THE APPLIANCE

IMPORTANT! Only use the adaptor supplied with the appliance.

   Your BaBylissMEN 11 in 1 Multi Trimmer is equipped with Ni-MH Batteries.
   To maintain maximum autonomy of the batteries, carry out two consecutive charge cycles (2×8 hours) about every three months, also, the Ni-MH batteries will only achieve full autonomy after first 4 charge cycles(4×8 hours).

CORDLESS OPERATION

Once the appliance is fully charged, unplug the adaptor from the mains socket and appliance and prepare for use.

PREPARATION FOR USE

• Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

• Ensure the appliance is sufficiently charged.
• Use on clean, dry hair that has been combed until tangle free.

CHANGING THE HEADS

• Before changing the heads, ensure the trimmer is switched off.
• To remove the head, twist and pull off (Fig. 1).
• Attach the head by aligning the markers and sliding the head on and twisting the head to lock (Fig.2).

USING THE ADJUSTABLE STUBBLE COMB GUIDE FOR PRECISION TRIMMER

The adjustable stubble comb guide allows you to take control of the length of your stubble to the ideal length between 1mm-3.5mm. You will need to experiment to find your preferred length, but as a guide, 1mm will give you a very short stubble beard and 3.5mm will be a short, neater beard.

• Select a cutting length (1-3.5mm) using the slide switch on the top of the comb
• Once you have selected your desired cutting length, the guide automatically locks into position for a guaranteed, even cut.
• Switch the trimmer on by sliding the power button up, the blades will start to move and you can begin trimming.

USING THE 7-POSITION COMB GUIDE FOR PRECISION TRIMMER

• Ensure the appliance is switched off.
• Attach the Precision Trimmer head.
• Align the trimmer with the tracks at the back of the handle. Slide the trimmer head onto the tracks (Fig.3). Push down the release mechanism to push it right on to the handle.
• The comb guide will be set to the shortest length when the comb guide is fully pressed down.
• With your thumb, push the guide up to the required length (2-14mm).
• The comb guide has 7 positions; 2mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm.
• To remove the comb, place your thumb on the back of the attachment and push up (Fig.4).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To maintain optimum performance, the appliance should be cleaned after each use:

• Remove the comb guide after use. Rinse the comb guide under running water and dry thoroughly before storage or use.
• Use the cleaning brush supplied to brush away any hair and debris.
• Do not use a sharp object to clean the trimmer blade.
• The heads can be removed to aid cleaning.

• To re-attach the blades head, ref. the Fig.2
• Gently blow away any hair trapped beneath the blades.
• The heads can be rinsed under the tap.
• Ensure the trimmer heads are dry before re-attaching to the trimmer body.
• After cleaning, switch the appliance on and oil the blades using a few drops of the lubricating oil supplied. Only use the lubricating oil supplied with the appliance as this is specifically formulated for high speed trimmers and does not evaporate or slow the blades.
