For the purpose of loading batteries only the charging dock and the charger provided may be used. Using another charger may be a cause of fi re or damage the tool. Batteries may be charged only in a dry room, protected from unauthorised persons, particularly children. Do not use the charging dock and the charger without permanent supervision of an adult! If it is necessary to leave the room where loading is taking place, it is required to disconnect the charger from the mains, removing the charger from the mains socket. In case when smoke comes out of the charger, or a strange smell is emitted, etc., it is required to immediately remove the plug of the charger from the mains socket!
The drill and automatic return screwdriver is provided with an unloaded battery, so before work may commence, it is required to charge it following the procedure below, using the charger and charging dock provided. Li-ION batteries do not show the so called “memory eff ect”, so it is allowed to charge them at any moment. However, it is recommended to discharge them during normal work, and then load them to their full capacity. If due to the nature of the task it is not possible to do so each time, then it is required to do it at least from time to time. Under no circumstances is it allowed to discharge the batteries short-circuiting the electrodes, since this would cause irreversible damage! It is also prohibited to check the load of the batteries, short-circuiting the electrodes for sparking.

  • Storage of the battery

    • In order to prolong the life of the battery, it is required to provide adequate storage conditions. The batteries can go through ap-proximately 500 „loading – discharging” cycles. The battery must be stored between 0 and 30°C, at the relative humidity of 50%. In order to store the battery for a prolonged period, it is required to charge it to approximately 70% of its capacity. In case of prolonged storage, it is required to recharge the battery once a year. Do not permit excessive discharging of the battery, since this would reduce its life and may cause irreversible damage.
    • During storage, the battery will be gradually unloading due to leakage conductance. The process of automatic unloading depends on the temperature of storage, since the higher the temperature, the fastest the process. In case of incorrect storage of batteries, there is a danger of electrolyte leakage. In case of leakage, it is required protect the leakage with neutralizing agent. In case of contact of electrolyte with the eyes, it is required to rinse the eyes abundantly, and then immediately seek medical assistance. It is prohibited to use a tool with a damaged battery.
    • In case the battery is completely worn out, it is required to deposit it at a special point dedicated to disposal of such waste.

    • Push and hold the blocking of the switch, press the your fi nger and hold it in this position. Check whether the saw blade is mov-ing freely, and the tool does not suspiciously or excessively vibrate, it is thus not emit smoke or a strange smell. If you notice any deviations from that correct operation, you should turn off the tool, remove the plug from the mains and take the tool to an authorized repair point.
    • During operation it is not necessary to hold the switch blockade.
    • The tool is stopped after releasing the pressure on the switch. After switching of, the saw blade can move for some time.
  • Cutting wood (VI)
Before you start cutting, you should draw the cut line with a carpentry pencil. Then rest the tool on its foot and set the saw blade according to the drawn line, then turn on the tool, allow the tool to reach the rated speed and start cutting. At the time of cutting do not exert too much pressure on the foot and the blade, as this can cause rupture of the working tool.

  • Plunge cutting
Attention! Plunge cutting may be carried out only in soft materials such as the soft wood or gypsum. You should never make plunge cutting in metal or other hard material.

    • For the plunge cutting you should use a short blade. Set for the maximum revs. Rest the foot edge on the cut material and switch on the tool. By pressing you should allow for working blade to plunge in material until the foot fully rests on the cut material. Con-tinue cutting along the designated line.
    • In the case of the wood cutting you should begin cutting at a lower speed and increase it during cutting.
  • Cutting at the edge
Attention! For cutting at the edge you should use special power saw blades with increased fl exibility.

    • It is possible to cut right near the walls, fl oors, and other hard-to-reach places. For example, for cutting off the pipes. During cutting you should make sure that the saw blade always travels through the total cross-section of the cut material. It is prohibited to cut around the wall, this may cause rebounding of the tool towards its operator.
    • It is recommended to mount the blade turned by its cutting edge by about 180 degrees in relation to its normal position. This will ensure easier cutting.
  • Cutting of holes
Attention! For holes cutting your should use saw blades, which are designed to cut arcs.
Before you start cutting, you should draw the cut line. Then drill a hole with a drilling machine, then insert into the produced hole the saw blade saw and start cutting.

  • Cutting of metal
Attention! Select the correct type of blade for the type of cut metal. This will ensure greater safety and prolong the service life of the saw blade.

    • When you are cutting thin sheets of metal. The workpiece should be placed between two pieces of wood. This will allow to achieve a smooth cutting line and reduce vibrations during operation.
    • It is recommended to use the coolant, which is corresponding to the type of metal. If this is possible in the area after which it will move the rate of saws, you should distribute the thin oil fi lm. This will facilitate the saw operation.
  • Additional notes

    • Do not allow to overload the tool, its external surfaces temperature should never exceed 60OC.
    • At the end of work you should turn off the tool, disconnect the power supply and make maintenance and inspection.
    • The declared, total declared value of vibration was measured by the standard test method, and it can be applied to compare one tool to another. The declared, Declared total value of vibration can was used in a preliminary assessment of exposure. Attention! The vibration emissions when working with the tool can diff er from the declared value, depending on how you use the tool. Attention! You should specify the security measures to protect the operator, which are based on an assessment of exposure in the actual conditions of use (including in it all parts of the work cycle, such as, for example, the time when the tool is turned off or it is idling, and its activation time).
