Functions
Cooking Modes
Your Profile Smart Oven includes 11 unique oven modes to provide versatility
in cooking and food preparation. Follow normal cooking times as provided in
the recipes for a full size oven excluding any preheat time. Please refer to
the Cooking Tips section on page 18. Read the below detailed mode descriptions
for guidance on the best mode to chose for your particular food type. Pay
close attention when using a mode or recipe for the first time. The oven will
immediately start cooking or baking without the need to preheat.
Warm
The Warm mode is useful for keeping freshly cooked meals warm while waiting
for guests or preparing the rest of the meal.
Toast
The Toast mode is ideal for browning the outside surfaces of bread slices
while maintaining a soft and moist inside. This mode may be used for a wide
variety of bread types and thicknesses.
Broil
The Broil mode is ideal for quickly searing meats (e.g. steaks or fish),
crisping vegetables (e.g. potatoes), or browning the top surface of foods
(e.g. casseroles).
NOTE: For safety purposes, Broil mode cannot be controlled remotely with
the SmartHQ app.
Pizza
The Pizza mode is ideal for cooking pizzas. The oven will melt the cheese,
heat up toppings, and crisp the crust.
Pastry
The Pastry mode is designed for cake, pie, bread and other specialty baking,
such as Souffles.
Reheat
The Reheat mode is ideal for reheating already cooked foods, such as
leftovers, without overcooking or drying out the food. See the Cooking Tips
section on page 18 to determine the best reheat temperature for your foods.
Bagel
The Bagel mode is ideal for browning the cut sides of bagels while lightly
toasting the opposite surface. This mode may also be used to toast other
similar foods such as English muffins. NOTE: Bagel is the same as Toast.
Adjust the shade to 2, 4, or 6 slices. Also adjust the shade accordingly if
toasting odd quantities, such as 1,3 or 5.
Roast
The Roast mode is ideal for cooking a variety of foods, such as meats,
poultry, and vegetables. Cookie The Cookie mode is ideal for baking cookies.
Regardless of whether homemade or pre-packaged, cookies will be cooked gently
and evenly. NOTE: It is recommended to cook a full tray at a time for best
results.
Bake

cooked thoroughly and evenly, which also makes this mode suitable for packaged
frozen meals.
NOTE: Cakes, pastries, and pies should be cooked with “Pastry” mode.
Air Fry
The Air Fry mode is ideal for browning and crisping the exterior of foods. By
combining intense heat and airflow, it can produce a taste and texture similar
to deep frying without the need to submerge the food in oil.

the handle down.
Rack Position
There are three possible cooking positions in the oven: Lower, Middle and
Upper.
Self-Presenting Rack: When the rack is in the Middle position, it will be
pushed in and out by the push pins on the back of the oven. The push pins
connected and linked to the door function. When the door closes, the rack
pushes in, when door opens, the rack slightly pushes out for easier access.
To operate the rack with the push pins, slide the rack into the Middle
position then lift up the back and place it on the hook of the push pin. To
remove the rack, unhook the back of the rack and pull the rack out.
NOTE: There is a weight limit for the push pin operation. If you are
cooking a heavy food, the pins will disengage and the rack will not push out.
Once the food is removed, the push pin operation will resume.
NOTE: Maximum load capacity for the rack is 15 lbs.
NOTE: The Air fry basket will also be pushed in and out when used in the
Middle position.
Crumb Tray
The crumb tray is located on the bottom of the oven under the control panel.
Cooling Fans
Your oven has cooling fans to keep internal components cool. Cooling fans will
not run for Toast and Bagel modes.
Air Fry Mode Accessory Guidelines
Use the Air Fry basket for most air fry recipes. It is recommended to place it
in the middle position and add a baking pan in the lower position to catch any
drips and simplify cleaning process.
For meat, use the baking pan placed on top of the rack. For air frying meats or fish use the baking pan instead of the air fry basket. The pan ensures proper crisping. The hot air is still going to circulate over the food while black enameled baking pan will ensure bottom crispiness.

setting.
Oven omits a burnt smell.| Ensure that the cooking time is appropriately set
and that food is not being overcooked.
Fats, oils, and sauces that have dripped onto the lower heating elements may
cause some smoke or burning smell during oven operation.
Ensure that the baking tray, oven rack, and drip tray are thoroughly clean
before each use.
Heater tubes turn off during cooking.| The heating elements of the oven turn

The oven emits smoke.| The fat from the food sticking to the heater may cause
smoke during cooking especially using “Broil” menu. Set lower temperature if
necessary.
The food is undercooked after recommended time.| 1.Too much food has been
added to the oven.
