FOERSTER TECHNIK Calf Automatic Feeding System
Product Information
The Automatic Calf Feeder is a device designed to automatically feed calves
with a milk replacer. It features a powder hopper for storing the milk
replacer and various components for connecting water, power, teats, suction
hoses, Ethernet cable, and identification cable. The feeder also has a boiler
for heating the milk replacer and a cleaning circuit for maintaining hygiene.
It is equipped with calibration and cleaning settings for optimal performance.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the protective cover from the feeder and place it in the desired position. Clean the outside of the feeder with a damp cloth.
- Mount the protective grid/cover of the powder hopper.
- Fill up the milk replacer in the powder hopper.
- Connect water using a new hose.
- Connect power to the feeder.
- Establish potential equalization on the right side of the feeder.
- Attach new teats and suction hoses.
- Install external detergent supply, checking the storage level and refilling if necessary.
- Connect the Ethernet cable and, if necessary, the identification cable by removing the dummy plug or sealing cap, opening the door on the left side, and plugging in the cables.
- Turn the automatic feeder on using the ON switch.
- Enter basic settings (date & time) on the handheld device.
- Fill the boiler with a milk replacer, ensuring no fault message is displayed.
- Perform calibration for all existing components at least 3 times during initial commissioning.
- Clean all components before recommissioning, following the cleaning settings provided.
- Start the circuit cleaning process if required.
- After cleaning, check all components again for leaks.
