PRODUCT COMPONENTS
QUICK USE
Install battery before use.
- Grasp Metal Hood C in one hand and Lens F in the other. Firmly twist the lens base counter-clockwise to separate.
- Twist Battery Housing G counter-clockwise to remove.
- Insert Li-ion Battery H into the housing with the symbol and exposed the copper end towards the top of the housing.
- Reassemble Battery Housing G.
- Lens F will only engage in the correct position when a flat spot on the lens aligns with the USB-A Charging Cable E plug under Metal Hood F. Twist clockwise to lock.
Note: Follow steps 1-5 for battery replacement.
DO NOT REMOVE THE PLASTIC WRAP ON THE BATTERY
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER & BRIGHTNESS
Use Power/Dimmer Switch B to power the lantern on, and off, and to adjust
brightness levels.
- Power On: Clockwise from the off position.
- Brightness: Adjust by turning the dimmer switch clockwise to increase brightness and counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
- Power off: Counter-clockwise until click.
CHARGING
- USB-A Charging Cable E is nested under Metal Hood F.
- Flip the lantern upside down to locate the cable.
- Pull the cable down and plug it into the external charging source.
Note: 30″ Extension Cable I included.
- When fully charged, all three Battery Life Indicator D lights will be solid.
- Replace USB-A Charging Cable E under Metal Hood F when not in use.
FAQs
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I RECHARGE THE LAHTERH?
To prolong the life of the Lithium-ion battery, it’s important to keep your
lantern charged. The battery needs to be charged every three months, even if
not in regular use.
WHY IS THE BATTERY LIFE INDICATOR BLIHKIHG?
The Battery Life Indicator D will begin blinking when it’s time to charge the
lantern.
WILL I HEED TO REPLACE THE LED?
The Beacon Lantern was designed to not require LED replacement. It comes with
a one-year warranty and is rated for 20,000 hours of use.
WARNING
- The Beacon is a high-intensity lighting device.
- Avoid shining the light directly into your eyes.
- This product is not intended for use by children.
- Do not disassemble the upper LED housing of your lantern. Doing so may damage the lantern and will void the warranty.
