MOORE RACE CHASSIS MRC Foxbody 25.3 Cage Kit with Standard Down Bars
Product Information
The MRC Foxbody 25.3 Cage Kit with standard down bars is a roll cage kit designed for Foxbody cars. It includes various parts and tubes necessary for installation. The kit is intended to provide enhanced safety and structural support to the vehicle.
Important Note: It is strongly advised to refer to the 25.3 SFI book for bar locations when installing the cage kit. Please ensure that the car is level both front to back and side to side before beginning the installation process. Upon receiving the pallet, check and make sure that all tubes are accounted for. MRC will not be responsible for missing tubes reported after 48 hours from the time of delivery.
Product Usage Instructions
Setting the #1 Bar:
The correct positioning of the #1 Bar is crucial for the rest of the cage installation. Follow these steps:

Measure from the factory seat belt mount to the middle of the
1 Bar, which should be 7 inches.

Ensure that the plates are flush with the bottom of the pinch
weld. -
The bottom of the #1 bar should be positioned 1/4 inch above the bottom of the plate and pinch weld.
Main Hoop Lean Back:
The main hoop should be leaned back at a 5-degree angle.
Driver Compartment Main Hoop to 42A, 45B, 45A:
Measure from the middle of the main hoop to the middle of each tube (42A,
45B, 45A) in the driver compartment.
Dash Bar and Gusset Placement:
Follow the provided dimensions and guidelines for placing the dash bar and
gussets.

We Strongly advise getting a copy of the 25.3 SFI book to refer to for bar locations. This guide is to be a supplement to common roll cage installation techniques. We are providing you with some measurements to help you set the bars where they need to go to fit other bars. All measurements are not provided. Make sure the car is level, front to back and side to side.
Please Make sure all tubes are accounted for when you receive the pallet. MRC is not responsible for missing tubes after 48 hours from the time of delivery.

HEIGHT AND FEET
Setting the #1 Bar is very critical to the rest of the cage.
- From the Factory seat belt mount to the middle of the #1 Bar is 7”
- The plates are flush with the bottom of the pinch weld
- The bottom of the #1 bar is a 1/4 inch above the bottom Of the plate and pinch weld.
DIMENSIONS
Main hoop lean back is 5 degrees
- The below dimensions are to the middle of the tube.
- These are the most critical dimensions and should be followed strictly to ensure a proper fit.
