  • Pull out the plug.
  • Remove the lid, your freshly ground, aromatic coffee is now ready for use 6.

Wait at least 3 minutes before using the appliance again and after being used three times let it cool down to room temperature to avoid overheating.

Some tips for best use

  • For the best flavour, store coffee beans in an airtight container.
  • Only grind the quantity of coffee beans required for the brewing process, as the flavour and aroma of the coffee powder changes when stored in the open air or with other food.
  • Clean the mill after each use (see 5 “Cleaning the coffee grinder”).
  • If the appliance cannot be switched on again after use, this is being prevented by a thermal fuse. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down for 5 minutes.
  • The quantity of ground coffee required depends on the type of bean, grinding fineness and the number of cups. Coffee flavour and strength are personal preferences. So try out which type of coffee beans, coffee quantity and grinding fineness setting are right for you. We recommend using 6 g of coffee powder with a medium grinding fineness setting.

Tips for preparing beverages

We all have different tastes.Adjust the grinding time to your requirements. The longer you grind, the finer the coffee powder. The following times are guide values and have been calculated with commercially available coffee beans (medium roast for French press and filter coffee, and dark roast for espresso). Please note that the grinding results can vary between coffee bean varieties even with the same grinding time.
Quantity of water| 250 ml| 500 ml| 750 ml| 1000 ml
Recommended quantity of beans| 15 g| 30 g| 45 g| 60 g
Recommended
grinding time| French Press
(grinding fineness coarse)| ∼10 sec| ∼13 sec| ∼16 sec| ∼19 sec
Filter coffee
(grinding fineness medium)| ∼16 sec| ∼20 sec| ∼24 sec| ∼28 sec
Espresso
(grinding fineness fine)| ∼10 g in 15-20 sec
