Beginner Tips
- Always use the propeller guards and ensure you have plenty of open space to practice
- Never fly the Sky Scanner on windy days
- The best way to know which direction the Sky Scanner is facing is by the colored LEDs on its wings. The red lights will face forwards, while the green lights face backward
- Always keep the Sky Scanner HD Quadcopter in direct line of sight
- Practice unlocking and locking the flight controls to get a feel for take-offs and potentially emergency landings
- You can lock or unlock flight controls by pushing down and outwards or by pushing down and inwards on both control sticks. Choose which is more comfortable for you
- To land, hold the throttle down until the blades slow and COMPLETELY stop. You may need to slightly correct the direction while the Sky Scanner adjusts to the correct altitude
- Do not fly more than 5m high until you are confident you can control the Sky Scanner
- It is your responsibility to abide by local laws and regulations at all times and keep up to date on any changes. Never fly within 30m of people, 5.5km of airports, or above 120m
