Introduction
The GVE440 DisplayPort HDBaseT-Lite Extender is able to extend a DisplayPort display up to 70m using a Cat 6 / 6a cable. This combination of IOGEAR and HDBaseT™ technology supports sharing 4K media up to 40m away, offering a simple, adaptable, and cost-effective solution for any professional A/V installation. The GVE440 DisplayPort HDBaseT-Lite Extender is the perfect solution for professional A/V installations that require video signal interference protection, such as medical and military installations. With its lightweight and easy-to-mount design and a slip-resistant DC Jack lock mechanism, the GVE440 can be installed in a multitude of locations.

Hardware Installation
- Connect the DisplayPort video source to the GVE440 transmitter DisplayPort Input Port with a DisplayPort cable. Note: The F/W Upgrade Port is reserved for technical support. If you would like to upgrade the firmware yourself, please contact your dealer.
- Connect one end of the RJ-45 cable to the HDBaseT output port on the transmitter. Then connect the other end of the RJ-45 cable to the HDBaseT input port on the receiver.
- Connect the GVE440 receiver DisplayPort Output Port to the DisplayPort monitor with a DisplayPort cable.
- Plug the power adapter cable into the power jack on both GVE440 units.
