PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
MBRP Inc. has made every effort to ensure that all components of this system are of superior quality and properly packaged. It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all components are present and fit together as shown. Please also ensure tnat all components are undamaged before removal of the factory exhaust. Finally, check that this system properly matches the make and model of the vehicle and will not interfere with previous or planned modifications.

Removal of stock system:

  1. Apply a penetrating lubricant liberally to all exhaust fasteners, hangers and rubber insulators.
  2. Remove the hardware from the stock extension pipes. Keep for reinstallation.
  3. Remove the exhaust from the rubber insulators..
  4. Remove the exhaust from the rearmost hanger. Leave the rubber insulators on the truck for installation.

Installation of MBRP Performance Exhaust:

  1. Install the Driver Side Front Pipe Assembly reusing the existing hardware and attaching the hanger to the existing rubber insulator. Hand-tighten the hardware leaving it loose enough for adjustment.
  2. Install the Passenger Side Front Pipe Assembly reusing the existing hardware. Hand-tighten the hardware leaving it loose enough for adjustment.
  3. Slide the 2.5” Saddle Clamps over the Passenger Side and Driver Side Front Pipe Assembly. Install the Muffler onto the two front pipes.
  4. Slide a 3” Saddle Clamp over the outlet side of the Muffler. Position the Over Axle Pipe and loosely attach it to the Muffler. Install the hanger into the existing rubber insulator.
  5. Slide a 3” Saddle Clamp over the Tail Pipe and install it onto the Over Axle Pipe. Slide the Tail Pipe hanger into the rearmost rubber insulator.
  6. Align the exhaust as required. Starting at the front of the exhaust, tighten all clamps and connections.
  7. Check along the whole length of the exhaust system to ensure that there is adequate clearance around the spare tire and fuel and brake lines. Realign if necessary.
